Creative brief

Business Name

Lioncrest Publishing

What do you do?

Lioncrest Publishing provides professional publishing services to authors who want to retain control over their work and publish outside of the traditional system.

Do you have a desired website screen size?

Whatever is normal and works on laptops -- I think 1200px?

How many pages (maximum of 4) do you need designed?

1

What is your industry?

Publishing and Media

Describe the target audience for your website design

The target audience are successful authors or prospective authors who would rather retain control over their work than go with a traditional publishing house, but don't want the amateur result that tends to come out of self-publishing. They want to work with pros without giving up 87.5% of their work.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your website design

- Professional
- Revolutionary
- Experienced

How is your company different from your competitors?

Most competitors are either big, traditional publishing houses (boring, behind the times, with a model based on giving little value to the creative) or new self-publishing startups (amateur, confusing). We have the best of both worlds (professional, simple, fast adapting, focused on the creative).

What website design styles do you like?

http://tuckermax.com - I like the dark theme, white-on-black, weirdly professional feel.

http://lioncrest.com - This is our current logo we had designed, to give an idea of the feel we're going for.

What colors do you want to see in your website design?

I think this would look good as a dark (probably black) theme. The gold in the current logo is a nice touch too.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your website design?

I don't think this is the kind of site that should have a lot of bright colors.

What adjectives should best describe your website design?

Professional, suave, clean, focused.

What content must be included in the website design?

Mockup of the site is attached below. Here is the content to fill in that structure with: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1nm1QkM7DnkI...

Do you have additional requirements or links you want to share?

Nope
