Leafmarks is a website for readers (and authors) to share their thoughts on books, express themselves creatively and freely, and commune with others who have a passion for reading. It is a place where people can keep track of what they've read, create bookshelves, rate and review books, get recommendations, and join in the social community.

After some digging around to get some examples of what I might like, here are some samples of landing pages and the concept.

www.cultivatedwit.com
www.yourkarma.com
www.drchrono.com
www.caitlinwicker.com - I really like the design on this one. It's slightly on the cutesy side but overall very cool and unique. I like that it's very "fluid" and not boxy.

On page load, you get something representing the brand and it's message with a simplistic image or art, or something that represents the spirit of the site. The signup can be in there too.

Then it's like a magazine brochure with different sections as you scroll down (sections can be other images with words representing the features of the site, or sections like what you have, like Top Reviews, Inspiration Quotes, Recommendations, etc.) I could do without the "Our Online Friend's" section.

The 2 pages I'd like to have designed is the main landing page, and the profile page that you'd see after you log in.
