NIAGADS - NIA Genetics of Alzheimer's Disease Data Storage Site
This site (NIAGADS--http://www.niagads.org) is part of a large National Institute of Aging directive to greater understand the genetic factors behind Alzheimer's Disease. NIAGADS is the genomic data warehouse for this large project. In addition to storing data, we also develop resources for organizing and analyzing genomic data.
No specific size requirement, but responsiveness for cross-platform accessibility is a must.
Health Care and Biotech
Doctorate-Level Genetics & Alzheimer's Researchers, most of which are in an academic, non-clinical, research setting
1. Simple sharing of complex data
2. Growing database of national genetic data
3. Uniting the Alzheimer's Disease genetics research community
Larger, Disease-Specific, National-in-Scope (there are few, if any, exact competitors)
https://www.globusonline.org/ - We like the simplicity and flatness;
https://mixpanel.com/ - Like the color scheme (purple is associated with Alzheimer's Disease);
http://www.geeksphone.com/ - We also like the idea of a 1 or 2 page site;
Darker theme with blue or light purple and maybe an orange or green emphasis
Sleek, modern, easily-accessible, elegant, logical
Page 1 - Landing Page - About, New Datasets, News, etc.
Page 2 - Browse Data Page - a page listing the available datasets, preferably accordion style with cart functionality (which we can implement)
Page 3 - Form page (for users to apply for an account and/or data access)
The Current NIAGADS Website: http://www.niagads.org
We are content using the existing logo. It was made with Nevis font and highlights "AD" in purple. We're open to new logo designs, if you're so inclined.

Final note: we will be implementing the final product with Drupal.
