Boy On Tilt
I´m a professional poker player that has been known for my ability to incorporate mindfulness and meditation into controlling your emotions at the poker table. I am now creatin a site that will have two purposes; 1 is my blog where I can get my ideas out, and the 2nd is creating free instructional poker videos. The inspiration in terms of purpose it this french site run by my friend (which was actually inspired by me): www.kill-tilt.fr
1366×768 would be my preffered, unless the creative can give me a reason for another reolution.
3-4 - basically a homepage, my blog (which could act be the homepage, as I really want the blog to be center stage so to speak), a videos directory list and then a "about me" page. Maybe a forum page as well if possible.
Entertainment and Sports
My target audience will be the 18-30 year old aspiring poker player, male, spends a lot of time online. Mostly the US and Western European countries. Income fairly low, perhaps dreaming of leaving his job and pursuing a career in poker. Not sure about education but the poker playing community is on average a very intelligent community.
The message that is supposed to come across is one of professionalism and sleekness under the overriding theme of mindfulness and meditation (look at the logos that I have attached). If the above can be infused with playfulness, I am open to that.
it´s different in the sense that 1. most of the products will be absolutely free, very uncommon in this business and 2. my approach is very much geared towards mindfulness and the mental side of poker.
Although I dont have as many categories I do somewhat like the app style design: http://www.rileycran.com/
In this site I like the way the buttons come alive as you scroll over them: http://www.artandcode.eu/
Really nice and clean site with just a few categories, just like mine, really like this one, and also like the "slideshow" which makes the website feel so alive: http://coryetzkorn.com/
I am open to anything here, but I have included my logos so I guess they should be in sync w those :) Or not, you´re the creative!

Cool, professional, easy to use, simple, sleek, modern. Not just looking for an average template here.
The only content is one of the two logos that I have also purchased through Crowdspring. Basically it´s two different logos cause we couldnt decide on which one we should use. You can decide which one you like best and use it to give u inspiration for the site.
Def the kill-tilt.fr website, although its not the style I like, it basically does the same thing I want to do minus the blog. I want the blog on my site to have more of a center stage.
