What do you do?

Foot, ankle and surgery clinic based out of North Platte Nebraska. We help people throughout the Midwest with all of their foot issues. We do everything from diagnosis issues to x-rays on feet to helping with athlete's foot and ingrown toenails. Any type of foot or ankle issue people may have we help out.

Do you have a desired website screen size?

1024x768. The outside of the pages need to have some sort of pattern in the background so it covers the entire browser. Having a pattern in the background helps to avoid making the site appear like its floating and really finalizes the design.

How many pages (maximum of 4) do you need designed?

We would like the homepage and the services page created.

Describe the target audience for your website design

Target market is people that live in Nebraska and the surrounding communities. We help quite a few older adults with their aging feet and ankles. We also help out athletes when they break a bone in their foot and need some help.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your website design

1. Crisp and clean. We don't want to have wasted space on the site but we also want it to be really clean. Homepage needs to be easy to navigate and the pages on the site need to have a natural flow to them.
2. Educational. We are big believers in educating our patients and we want lots of videos and articles on the site educating people about their feet and what they can do. It really needs to be a good resource site along with a site promoting our business. We want people to come to our site even if they just want to learn about foot and ankle issues.
3. Healthy. While we are a foot and ankle clinic, we DO NOT want photos of feet on the site. Everyone has that. We want to have images of people being active and having fun and enjoying life. That is why people come back to us is to get back to normal in their life.

How is your company different from your competitors?

We get to know our patients on a very personalized level. Also surgery is a last resort and not something we go to right away. We want to educate our patients so they can make the best decision and educating them through our site is the best way to do that.

What website design styles do you like?

We want it clean and easy to navigate. We also don't want just empty whitespace. We would like to have some kind of color or pattern in the background to really pull everything together. We also like the sites that showcase services but really hit home on the educational opportunities and gives people a reason to come back to the site again and again.

What colors do you want to see in your website design?

Blue hues and greens. Lighter and more welcoming colors.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your website design?

Not white because people always associate doctors offices with white. We also don't want really dark colors. Another thing we don't want in the website is feet. We want to show people that are active. We have an image of an x-ray that we can place in but that would be it for the site.

What adjectives should best describe your website design?

Clean and concise. Welcoming. Educational. A site that gives a lot of value back to the user.

What content must be included in the website design?

Here are the pages in the navigation; home, about us, services, meet the doctors, new patients, resources, types of issues, contact us. There will be videos as part of this site and we would like to incorporate those. We also want to incorporate online articles and a FAQ section.

Do you have additional requirements or links you want to share?

We have placed together a research doc showing the types of things we want to have in the site. Please read that over carefully because it gives some great ideas on how to move forward. Again you can use a photo of an x-ray but not of any bare feet themselves. You can show someone running or being active but not just of their foot.
