What do you do?

The basic idea: We are a matchmaking platform.
Provide a better way for students to find the best private tutors in their city. Allow the best teachers to source their work over the platform and have a basic interaction with the students to schedule a private class.


The basic platform structure
Each tutor will have a profile page which will contain
• Basic details of the tutor (Name, age, sex, address)
• Picture of profile
• List of domains the tutor is specialized in,
• Latest work (ability to upload a simple PDF to describe CV or latest published work)
• The hourly rate at which the tutor offers his/ her services and
• The feedback that the teacher’s students have given him/her
• Basic badge system (based on the 5 star rating)

The website will allow users (students) the following features:
• Basic details of the student (Name, age, sex)
• Picture of profile
• sorting and searching functionality by city, topic, teacher name or rating
• Rating teacher (5 star metric) and a 250 character review of teacher
• Ability to send msj to teacher and book a class (basic scheduling tool) over the platform
• Basic social networking sharing (post on facebook and twitter)


The SITE WILL BE IN SPANISH. Our target market is found in Latinamerica

Describe the target audience for your website design

Site will be in spanish. Target audience in LatinAmerica. This is a 2-sided market. First students are age 16-29, male, urban, speak Spanish and English are active on social networks and like extracurricular activities.
Second, teachers are age 35-55, female, urban, speak at least 3 languages and are active news readers

Use of simple and clean icons
Top right space for small logo
Use of helvetica or clean modern font
inner pages with a simple stucture and a left sidebar to add a few elements of navigation
inner pages should have an upper slim banner for navigation bar or breadcrumbs
