EarlyBirds.com will be a website that Customers use to outsource tasks they either do not want, or do not have time, to take care of themselves (we call those tasks Missions). The site will allow the Early Birds (the people completing the Mission) to create an account and list their skills to make themselves appear marketable to Customers. Customers will list a Mission and an amount they are willing to pay. The Customers will then be able to view the profiles of the Early Birds who have applied for the job and decide who they will hire for the job. After the Mission is completed, the Customer will pay the Early Bird for their services and will be allowed to rate their service on the website.

The Early Birds will become more and more marketable by completing more tasks, providing efficient service, and all in all having satisfied Customers. They will be able to display their successes by earning badges. Having more badges will make an Early Bird more likely to gain more Customers. For example, if an Early Bird has completed 10 handyman tasks with positive reviews they may be eligible for the Handyman badge--making them more likely to get Customers for handyman chores since they are able to show off their positive reviews.

We are looking for a great design that will be enticing to both Early Birds and Customers and allow them to flow through it effortlessly. The design should be clean and simple but very engaging. We want them to come to the site and not be able to turn away from signing up. We are open to any colors, but they should be refreshing and excite the senses. The design should also be free of clutter and easy on the eyes. Strategic placement of Facebook, Twitter and Google+ buttons is a must.

In addition to what is in the brief, I want to reiterate that we do not want the logo that is currently on the EarlyBirds.com site. That site was for something completely different. Thanks!!!

One other addition. It may not have been clear in my overall description. We used the word "Customer" to refer to the person that is hiring someone to complete a mission (or task).

We used the word "Early Bird" to refer to the person that would be doing the mission (or task).

We are not tied to the word "Customer." If you can think of something better, we are all for that! :)

Ideas for a bird in the logo:
1.) A bird that has a sash on with badges on it.
2.) A bird that is dressed up like a handyman
3.) A bird that is dressed up like a seamstress
4.) A bird that is juggling

Here's some info I told a creative regarding the birds:

I'm thinking more of one bird that is the "main bird" that we use for the logo and then his "helper birds" that we use throughout the site. Similar to what you've done here, but I'd like a bird that had more character to it. Kind of like the angry birds, but obviously not that style. I want a bird that is fun that says "I can get that job done" Maybe a bird that has wing muscles. I don't know.

Here's what I mean by a sash:

And here's an example of someone with one on:

I was thinking a bird with a sash with badges and wing muscles that shows a "can do" attitude. How's that? ;)
