Lummys Garage creates branded social media content (e.g. customized videos, photos, cartoons, drawings, posts and tweets) in order to increase business development, brand equity and business profitability.
For the home page, I'd prefer that the user does not need to scroll in order to see the full screen. With this said, this is not critical.
Advertising and Marketing
While there are two audiences for our business, Businesses and Creatives, our focus is on Businesses. Lummys Garage works with businesses with an interest in purchasing customized content (videos, photos, cartoons, etc.) in order to build awareness of their business and build their brand.
1. Creatives - Lummys Garage (our domains are Lummys.com and LummysGarage.com) wants to convey that our business is a network of Creatives ranging from artists to designers to filmmakers to comedians to etc.
2. Hard-working - The Creatives within Lummys Garage are hard-working.
3. Professionalism - Lummy's Garage's network of creatives is not just creating "fun" social media content. The creatives are creating engaging social media content with the explicit goal of growing the business and brand of the relevant business. i.e. Lummys Garage's network of creatives are both creative and professional.
The only businesses that do what we do are advertising, marketing and other agencies. Few, if any businesses, do what we do and only do what we do. With this said, if there are small agencies that also do what we do, their staff is internal to their agency and relatively small. Our staff of creatives, much like CrowdSpring, is a crowdsource network.
I like Wieden's (http://www.wk.com/) and other relatively simple layouts.
The Lummys Garage website, and most all of Lummys Garage's marketing materials, will have a color scheme similar to this image (http://ow.ly/ma3Yn) though, obviously, without the man and woman writhing on each other. In order to convey that Lummys Garage is a place where our network of creatives creates quality social media content, work hard, get their hands dirty, etc., we'd like a greasy, grungy, metallic look and feel. With this said, we're open to ideas.
We want the central colors and theme to be different gray tones. There can be colors within the design, but we don't want bright colors to be the majority of the design.

We thought the homepage could look like the front of a garage. i.e. There's a large brick background/wall with a large garage door and the Lummys Garage logo above the garage door. All the colors would be dull, including the brick wall, except the windows on the garage door which look into the garage which could be bright(er) colors. In other words, everything is dull and dreary... except what's being built within Lummys Garage. For the rest of the pages, we're open to ideas but, for obvious reasons, we'd like it to match the homepage.
