Stationary / Cards for I.A. Consultants inc.

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

My name is Jeff Parks and I am the President of I.A. (Information Architecture) Consultants inc. in Ottawa Canada. I specialize in the fields of Information Architecture, User Experience, and Human Factors. I am also the interviewer and producer of two Podcasts covering topics in these fields. The I.A. Podcast which can be found on my site and the Boxes and Arrows Podcast.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

I need the following stationary that will align with the updated branding of my logo. I will require:

1. Fax cover sheet (Fax Number is: +1 613-422-3847) All other contact details can be found below.

2. Company letterhead for letters to clients

3. Reports in MS Word. This would include a cover page (including a space for titles in each report to clients); second page after cover page for a table of contents; common look / feel for all pages that follow table of contents. This would be a single deliverable - something I could replicate for all projects.

4. Two-sided business card

The business cards need to be in a format that will allow me to go straight to a printing company without my having to format anything.

The information on the cards should include the following information (I've left my title and the fax number off intentionally)

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

I do a great deal of work for the Federal Government of Canada. I also talk with industry leaders in IT from around the world for the Podcasts I produce including Google, Microsoft, Adaptive Path, and the like. I'm working to move more specifically into the public sector.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Everything, with the exception of the business cards, need to be in MS Word (.doc) formats as both Government and private sector organizations I work for demand this format. I can export to pdf as needed.

Distinct Printing, LLC - Logo and Stationery

We are a new printing company in St. Louis, MO. Currently, we design and print t-shirts for our retail clients. We concentrate on high end distinctive t-shirts. We screen print, heat press, and use sublimation on garments. Soon we will be able to print cups, puzzles, mouse pads, etc.

We desire a logo and stationary that reflects distinct energy, but simple with a professional flare.

Our goal is to provide distinct services to all our clients. Our logo should reflect that.

I like the QuotaCrush logo designs.

No box fonts. The use of purple would be great, but not necessary.

Business cards and letterhead

We are an artisan design studio specializing in concrete countertops, sinks, fireplace surrounds, furniture, and other custom projects for your home or business. Our eco-friendly process combines modern technology with old-school handcrafted quality.

We need business cards fast. We also need a letterhead for mailings. We already have a logo that should be incorporated, obviously. We will be using www.overnightprints.com for our printing services. They have templates online with their print requirements; we will be using the rounded corner business cards.

Our Clients are looking for a rustic handcrafted product that will compliment their expensive rustic homes often found slope side at world class ski resorts - you get the idea. We have set ourselves apart from the competition by offering a hand troweled finish that creates a lot of depth and color variation in our surfaces. We are trying to portray a bit of that through our business card.

I would like the business card design to include both sides of the card. The front should include all of the necessary contact info. while the back can get more creative, perhaps just the name and logo creatively displayed. The font used for the company name is called P22 Cezanne, but the rest of the font for contact info etc. is up for grabs. my website which is still in progress and still has placeholders for pics can be viewed here http://www.skyhand.com/jerrad2/index.html As you can see we are sticking with earth tones for our color pallet. The logo is included in the attached eps file, the only one we used is on the far left when the file is opened. see website for example.

I have a few requirements:
-I need four different backgrounds for the cards. I was thinking we could use photos of the actual product for backgrounds. I have attached some pics that could be zoomed and cropped to use as background images (some are better than others). The colors I was shooting for are a darker brown, leathery brown, light brown/beige, and a sage green (the sage may need color tweaking)
-I also am planning on dipping the ends of the cards in their respective concrete color to add a bit of creative flair to set us apart a bit. I would like to dip 3/4" of the left side of a horizontal card into the concrete color, so the design should reflect that and not have text or graphics in that area. I am not opposed to a vertical business card in which case we would dip the bottom 3/4" in the concrete color.
-The back of the card (the creative side) can have have any combination of our name - "elements", "elements concrete" "elements artisan concrete".
-Here is the contact info. needed on the card

Verbal Conversions

Verbally dictated digital voice files are sent to us over a secure web site from field personnel, service technicians and sales staff. We take those digital files and transcribe them creating a Microsoft Word document within 12 hours and return the document to the client via secure e-mail. It is a great tool for capturing vital information in the field when the information is fresh in the technician or sales represtentatives mind. Office staff can use the transcribed document to send to insurance companies and other customers. Managers can use the information to schedule jobs and resources and quickly review all the work thier technicians or sales staff have done. The informtion can also be used for estimating damages, repairs, resourses needed on the job, to do items for a project or follow up for sales leads.

We need a design that will work on letterhead, business cards, web page, promotional products. It should portray the ease of use in turning mountains of field notes into a clean and easy to read transcribed document

Contractors, Fire and Water restoration services, companies that send sales staff out and want the prospects documented. Anyone that must gather intricate field information and then return to the office and attempt to document it in detail. Most folks hate to come back to the office and spend hours typing or writing and often forget key components of the job or resources needed for the job. They very much like being able to carry a small digital recorder with them and document between jobs. When they return to the office they simply transfer the files. Saving them time and thier companies money

We like clean lines and white spaces on a web page

Logo, Stationery, Cards, Note Card, Envelopes for Wedding Photographer

This request is for Heston Wedding Images. We have been in wedding photography for 8 years, and are in the process of launching a more up scale marketing program to create brand recognition.

We need a designs for a Logo, Stationery, Business Card, Note Cards, and Website. The logo will also be included on my high end prints.

The target audience is brides and grooms, ages 19-34, located primarily in the United States, with upper middle income. From our past customers, I know that our brides have the following in common.

They like great images
They like fun candid images
They want a relaxed experience with their photographer
They are as concerned about having a good time at their wedding as they are about getting great images.

The logo wants to reflect Creative, High Class, Full Service photography that caters to couples that desire to have fantastic images.

In playing with the idea of a logo, I came up with the attached designs, that incorporate wedding rings. I like this, but I'm not stuck on it.

There are No absolute Must Haves, or Must Not Haves.

Super easy! Business card for a health management professional

Hello all,

I am a health management professional and would like to have my personal card designed.

I need it to be primarily white, with gray and light blue elements. I have attached a picture that shows exactly what it needs to be like, with only a couple of its elements needing to be reworked, so it should be super easy.

I will be handing out these cards to other professionals in the same field and (prospective) partners. Given my young age, I want to promote freshness and cutting edge, so it needs to be unique and pleasantly surprising, without losing its serious and medical touch.

I like clean and minimal designs with only the basics used.

As seen in the picture,

- Size: I haven't measured sides in the example picture, but I want the standard business card size with half its height, so that it's a lot thinner. For example, if the standard size is 4X8 (with 4 being its height), I want it 2X8.

- Layout: There should be a cross on the left, the name and title in the center and my contact details on the bottom right.

- Font: The font I'm using is NP Naipol, which I was introduced to by a crowdspring creative during my previous project (thanks Konrad). Use the same or a very similar one that also promotes technology and minimalism. I would like all letters in "medium" gray color, except for "health management" which should be in light blue and also in caps. Also don't forget to have "MBA" in a smaller font size than my name and also at a distance. My contact details should be small in size and if possible, use the respective icons in this link (phone and e-mail address), in a similarly small size: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/business/business-symbols-metaphors/7187466-business-icons.php?id=7187466

- Cross: The cross is the main element of the card. It will be the only glossy part of the card, while the rest will be all matte. I want it white on white with a shiny / glossy finish so that it looks a bit like glass and a 3D appearance. It should have a slightly angled perspective (just a few degrees) to give it a 3D look. I'd like it to have a similar surface feel / finish as the item in this picture, only in white color and with no shadow around it / on the ground: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/business/3915234-big-question.php?id=3915234

If you think something should be different, I'm also open to fresh ideas. Thanks in advance.

Logo and business card for new marketing company

Hey everyone!

TEMPUS Group (www.tempusgroup.com) is a marketing and sales effectiveness firm that is just getting off the ground. Like most marketing firms, we have the problem that we're too busy working on other people's stuff to work on our own. So, that's where you come in!

We need a logo & business cards. I will take the logo and integrate it into the website as well, as well as any other thing we end up (including shirts). But, right now, this is really about a logo and business cards.
In terms of our target market, we are enterprise focused, B2B, whatever you want to call it. We bring to the table three key things that the should be the inspiration for the logo:

1) Experience. We were "hired guns" for VC firms for almost a decade, having a number of successful exits for firms.

2) R&D labs. We invest heavily in testing various methodologies that drive B2B marketing. This means we can deliver more leading edge capabilities, but do it in a proven way that generates results.

3) Patent-pending processes. We've developed a unique system that we use in all of our engagements that drives fantastic results for most organizations.

We'd like something that
1) Is iconic. We like the idea of a logo that can stand without text.

2) Integrates with text. We will typically, though, probably include our name with the icon. We'd like this font to be very modern looking, professional, but still a very modern flare.

3) Colors. Flexible. We use a lot of black and white, so it should have color.

4) Should work on black and white background.

5) We are exploring using TEMPUS in all caps. You should explore typography case in your designs.

If possible, it should also convey the idea of sociality, connectivity, and communication.

Clear as mud, I know. But, these things always are. Give me your great ideas. We'll pick one and implement it!

Design an awesome stationery pack for Engauge

Context:

We need a Stationery Pack for our Engauge product and service range. (Letterhead, envelope, business card, Powerpoint template)
We are a training support company. We provide online assessments for training needs, performance appraisals and career guidance. We generally work with company training and HR departments.

Our new name, Engauge, reflects the combination of the measurement and development of a person’s performance / abilities. The name also refers to the outcome - increased engagement with their work and their organization.

Requirements:

We want a fun, upbeat (energetic) and contemporary design for the stationery and website (which is posted in a separate project). We want people to smile when they see our stationery (in a “that’s cool” way). We like a crisp, clean look.

Here are some links to websites with the sort of looks we like:
http://www.oypro.com/ (although possibly a bit ‘busy’ for our purpose)
http://www.fusionbooks.com.au/
and
http://www.makingrain.com/index.html
That said, we’re not stuck on any of these styles specifically – be adventurous if you want to come up with something a bit different.

Some stationery may be professionally printed (e.g. envelopes and business cards) while other items may be printed on an office printer (e.g. letterheads) so will be used in the form of a Word and/or Powerpoint template.
The businesscard design has a specific additional requirement. We would like something that folds (so that, opened up, it could be used as a bookmark) and also has one or two die-cuts so that it will hold a smaller card (dimensions: 28mm x 70mm – see: http://www.moo.com/products/minicards.php). This little card should only be visible once the businesscard has been unfolded (a surprise inside!)

Our logo can be seen in the supporting files. The main logo colour is green with the other colours representing different sections of the range. This will largely be applicable to the website design posted separate project, but feel free to be adventurous.

We really want a positive emotional connection with the brand so it is critical that the design supports that requirement. If you wish to modify the logo to fit with your design concept, we are open to re-interpretation.

I’m very happy to answer questions or give feedback.

globoGO - Stationery

We are an upcoming online travel agency. About to initiate operations by the end of July 2008 so unfortunately no live website to see yet. We are based in Mexico and will target the Mexican market travelling either domestic or to rest of the world: for a reference, we have 10,000 hotels around the world in our inventory.

- GLOBO in Spanish means either "globe" or "balloon", hence the spherized / inflated nature of our logo.

- GO is meant to be in English.

I am looking for a very clean, yet fun design. Probably use carefully-picked, witty stock photos? Not mandatory but definitely an option.

I like this aesthetic very much:

 http://andrewzimmern.u4eanet.com

I am also attaching another look I like (Kelty).

Specifically I like how they use clean open spaces with minimalist typography, yet they add life and humor through photos. We can leverage any intelligent reference to our "balloon" nature (remember our logo is supposed to be inflated) or to any travel imagery (a landmark, airplanes, etc).

Try to keep it colorful and use our logo's colors in accents here and there.

We might even consider custom shapes in our business cards, so long as it makes sense and doesn't interfere with a card's fundamental purpose of being "storable".

The Claim Works Inc. Corporate ID

Hi, I'm looking for a full stationary package for a new Canadian company called The Claim Works Inc.

In Canada, companies doing research can file a "claim" with the Federal Government and often recoup more than 50% of the money they spent. For many young technology companies, these refunds help to keep the doors open.

The official name for this type of claim is The Scientific Research and Experimental Tax Credit or SRED. Most people in Canada pronounce it as SHRED.

The Claim Works provides a service to these companies by managing all the work around documenting the research and filing the claim with the Federal Government.

We compete with lots of big and boring accounting firms, small and boring accounting firms and other SRED only companies that don't have a clue about marketing or branding.

We are looking for a fresh, young image for the company that plays off the name. The Claim Works. --- because in many cases the SRED claims filed by other companies don't. When I came up with the name the vision of a foundry came to mind....but I don't want to color your creativity.
