The Sourcer's Playbook (Cover Design)

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

I own a company called General Lead (www.generallead.com). We specialize in three areas: Talent Delivery, Advanced Sourcing Services and Custom Recruitment Training. Basically, we help clients find candidates to fill open positions, and we train recruiters and internet sourcers.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

A cover for a book. We are putting together a book called "The Sourcer's Playbook" which will be a training guide/manual for recruiters and internet sourcers to use to find candidates to fill open positions. It will be a "how to" guide or a "step-by-step" manual to learn from.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Recruiters, Internet Sourcers, Researchers, HR (Human Resources), Staffing Firms, Consultants

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

This is a tough one to describe. We are calling this book "The Sourcer's Playbook" and what we had in mind is a spiral bound football players playbook to hand deliver to people to learn from. I ideally would like an illustration designed that we can use as a cover for the book. It can resemble a sports-persons playbook, a beat up spiral bound book cover (that is used, scribbled on, drawn on, torn or frayed a bit), a book cover with random plays drawn-up on the cover, etc. It can have different colors and fonts used on it. Not too particular on this. The cover doesn't necessarily have to resemble a playbook, but want something original that we can use as a cover. It also does not need to look torn, worn or frayed. That was just one thought I had. I'm open to a "clean" look as well. Another thought is using various logos of "WEB 2.0" companies and plastering them all over the cover too. I'm also very open to have designers run with the own thoughts on what the terms "sourcer" or "playbook" means to them, and design something from there.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Must have the words "The Sourcer's Playbook" on the cover in some font, form, shape or design.

Full Page Ad

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are an adirondack chair company that has been building chairs out of HDPE for 20 years.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need an ad designed that is 1 full page with bleed. It needs to be in the PDF/X1a format.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our market is furniture retailers and contract clients (interior designers and hotels). We want to emphasize that we were the first in the industry and that we have evolved from our first adirondack chair in 1989 to nearly 160 products today. We need to visually show them how our product has progressed. We also want to cast the vision for them to partner with us since we are the progressive innovator in the industry. We would like to have a subtle theme somewhere in the lower corner of the ad that shows that this product is made in the USA.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We like clean cut. Not too many words. We like to keep it a bit classy. Don't be afraid to add a bit of flair. We want the logo to be a focal point on the top. One concept that would be neat is if it could start black and white with the original adirondack chair and then turn color with the new product. Open to any other ideas that convey a time line. The files titled "original" and "original2" are the photos of our original product (the AD5030 model).

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

The Poly-Wood Logo. Made in the USA at the bottom. Minimal words to make the point. 1989 should be in there to show how long we have been around. Any other ideas that convey that we are the leaders and innovators in our industry. Our website: www.polywoodinc.com and our phone number (877) 457-3284 listed somewhere at the bottom.

Pimp My Resume

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

I build creative, innovative strategies to find the best professional talent in the world for the brands that I work for. Im very passionate about what I do. I see myself as a game changer in my career. I've worked for some huge brands and the attributes that have anchored my career are...the fact that I execute and compete with the mentality of an athlete and the sensibility that i describe as a tempered tenacity. Im innovative and creative in my problem solving.

More about me:

Ideation

You are fascinated by ideas. What is an idea? An idea is a concept, the best explanation of the most events. You are delighted when you discover beneath the complex surface an elegantly simple concept to explain why things are the way they are. An idea is a connection. Yours is the kind of mind that is always looking for connections, and so you are intrigued when seemingly disparate phenomena can be linked by an obscure connection.

Maximizer
Excellence, not average, is your measure. Taking something from below average to slightly above average takes a great deal of effort and in your opinion is not very rewarding. Transforming something strong into something superb takes just as much effort but is much more thrilling.

Input
The world is exciting precisely because of its infinite variety and complexity. If you read a great deal, it is not necessarily to refine your theories but, rather, to add more information to your archives.

Futuristic

“Wouldn’t it be great if . . .” You are the kind of person who loves to peer over the horizon. The future fascinates you. As if it were projected on the wall, you see in detail what the future might hold, and this detailed picture keeps pulling you forward, into tomorrow.

Significance

You want to be very significant in the eyes of other people. In the truest sense of the word you want to be recognized. You want to be heard. You want to stand out. You want to be known. In particular, you want to be known and appreciated for the unique strengths you bring. You feel a need to be admired as credible, professional, and successful.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

I'm pursuing a few companies that I would like to be employed by and I need raise my creative/design look, feel and expression of my resume. I need the result to have the format flexibility and scalability to present in hard copy, email and at some point integrate into my website without losing any value.

I have great content and brands, it just needs to be delivered in a way that tells a Visual and Visceral story
I need it to inspire and excite

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

My primary Targets:
http://www.stoneyamashita.com
http://nike.com

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

I'm inspired by the designs of

mid-century design (clean, elegant with standout features)
apple
fastcompany

fonts and color: Clean, confident, compelling and professional with a subtle sexiness

Motorstats.com Tradeshow Banners - Racing Inspired

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are a racing community website providing software to tracks, touring series and drivers.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a high-impact, yet professional banner for a pop-up banner stand for use at trade shows. The banner will be 36" wide x 96" tall. Two identical printed banners will be displayed independently in a 10' x 10' booth.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Race track promotors and operators. Drivers. Race fans.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Grungy seems pretty cool these days. If you're looking for inspiration, don't look to NASCAR. Go to Motocross websites. I prefer the Motocross designs over what typically shows up in NASCAR. I also tend to like surf/skate design.

I attached some images that have recently caught my eye. Both include the stylized stars. It's possible that I could be pretty happy with a background containing one or more stars similar to starbackgroundexample.png.

I would also prefer some "treatment" on the motorstats.com logo. At least so it's not plain-jane. Double outlined stuff usually looks good to me, but the logo text may be a little too tight.

The motorstats.com logo color is pms 187 coated.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Absolutely put the Motorstats.com logo vertical (the long way).

No flames. Nothing too swirly or curvy.

Change the "sm" to a "tm" (servicemark to a trademark). The "TM" should be very subtle and whatever font you choose is fine.

Inspired Fitness glossy postcard

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

inspired fitness, inc. is a social network for women only. The network meets physically as well as online. They provide support for each other to keep on a workout and nutrition plan as well as meeting as a group to explore new fitness pursuits (such as Hot Yoga, Karate, Swing Dancing, and other cardio-inspired activities that members may not have tried in the past), as well as meeting socially to try hot new restaraunts as a group. The Inspired Fitness staff coordinates all of these activities and member can pick and choose those they'd like to attend. Inspired Fitness negotiates major discounts for their members at all of these venues, as well as providing steep discounts at area partners such as local providers of massage, manicure/pedicure treatments, child care providers such as Kindercare, as well as providing discounts at the largest area gyms with substantially reduced membership fees.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need an oversized glossy "postcard" (5x8 maybe) that we can personally hand out and mail to invite women to an event we're sponsoring at the area's largest gym on December 6th, 2008. The rough "copy" for this postcard is attached, copywriting is not our specialty so please take editorial license.
The event is 2 hours to talk about how to do goal-setting the right way and to take about an hour to actually help the women put together a set of fitness and health goals that will then be tied to an actual fitness and nutrition plan. Additionally, we'll be doing a 20-minute cardio workout using the "high-point" technique to get the blood pumping and the endorphins moving.
We'll be offering free massages, tanning sessions, and refreshments after.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

women - 29 to 52.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We're including what we'd like on the front of the very glossy postcard. The idea of this design is something "cool" that someone might actually keep instead of pitching out.
We're thinking of using this as the "back" of our business card design as well.....

Takeout Menu for Naan Stop (new Indian restaurant concept)

We are starting a small Indian quick-serve restaurant called Naan Stop. It is essentially the "Indian version of Chipotle," serving naan wrapped sandwiches, as well as salads and rice bowls. It is a modern, very Americanized restaurant basically combining all the flavors of a traditional full-service Indian restaurant with the convenience and hip, modern style of a Chipotle.

We are currently doing a delivery only operation out of an existing restaurant to prove the concept, so we'll need to make sure that is clear on the menu.

We need a take out menu designed that is easy to understand with a clean layout. It's pretty easy for our customers to get confused (because you can design your own sandwich however you like), so we need to make sure that it isn't too overwhelming at first glance. There are also preset combinations that you can either have as a sandwich (in plain or whole wheat naan), salad or rice bowl.

What we're looking for is something a little bit unique, and not your typical tri-fold brochure type layout. For example, if you look at a Chipotle takeout menu, they are long and narrow and just two-sided. While I think their menu is a little too long (and it's hard to keep without folding it in half) I do like the fact that it's different than most others. Their menu is also good in terms of clarity. It's very easy to understand how to order.

On the menu we will also need: our logo (attached), our phone number (just put 555-1212 for now), our website (www.naanstop.com - you will also be able to order online), that we take credit cards (Visa, MC, Discover & Amex), our hours (11:30 am - 10 pm)

We will also need our locations. Under locations, we will just have 1 for now which will be "Naan Stop @ Devi". For this location we will need to say that it is delivery only, but it is free delivery.

I have attached the first version of the menu, which we might make changes to so I need to make sure the text it editable. Feel free to play around with the order of the menu, names of sandwiches, etc. This is just a basic idea of what we will be offering.

18-34, mainly working professionals. When they see the menu I want them to think that Naan Stop is modern, trendy, clean, high-quality and reasonably priced. Typical Indian menus can be sort of, um, depressing - so I want them to feel confident that they will be getting great, reliable food - so it needs to be bright and modern. And much more "Americanized"

http://www.forkandbottle.com/restaurants/sanfran/images/wich_craft/menu_bg.gif - clean, simple
http://chipotlog.com/chipotfiles/images/CIMG2525.preview.JPG

Basically going to leave it up to you - but if you have any questions for me about the direction you want to go in, and you want to know if i'd like it before you get started just ask! I'll try to respond as soon as I can.

pulled from our website www.powerobjects.com

At PowerObjects, we live and breathe Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Whether you are looking for an on-premise or a hosted CRM solution, you have come to the right place. Because our core focus is Microsoft Dynamics CRM, we handle everything from basic (or standard) implementations, to creating a complex line of business applications using CRM as an "XRM" platform.

Series of 6 postcards that will be mailed out from www.shipshapes.net as 6x9 inch plastic postcards http://www.shipshapes.net/greenvue.php - using the green recycled postcards

The mailing campaign will be aimed at driving new Microsoft Dynamics CRM customers for us - preferably hosted customers. Each of the six cards should be unique but carry a common theme throughout. One of the ideas we have been tossing around is creating this persona of "Joe CRM" almost like a CRM superhero of sorts that can solve any problem with CRM. The front of the card would carry the design and the back would be our text with a call to action....

Some of the pains/needs
o	Gain total control of sales process with one solution
o	Maintain existing customer relationships
o	Manage leads more effectively
o	Close more sales in less time
o	Less time performing administrative tasks and data entry
o	Centralized view of preferences, relationships and history
o	Better reporting, forecasting, tracking sales, identifying issues

Some of our value propositions
•	CRM experts
•	Offer CRM options hosted or on-prem
•	Proven process
•	Talented people
•	Local service
•	Microsoft Gold Certified Partner
•	Proven expertise/successful projects

we pulled a list of sales and marketing professionals in companies in revenue zone of 5-50million in our Geo which is the twin cities in Minnesota

sorry - haven't really looked at alot of other designs

something cool to pull off this "Joe CRM" concept

Teaser & Invitation campaign

We are an investment counsel firm like a " Brandes" asset management, we manage money for institutions and high net worth indidviduals. We are very service oriented and extremely transparent organization to do business with, also with a good performance track record

Four different postcards as a teaser to a final invitation, they need to be all tied together so when they get the invitation they can see the link between the five pieces. the invitation is to invite them to a wealth management seminar. one invitation per week with the fianl invitation on the 5th week. it needs to remain open as some of the text will be in french also...

High Net worth Individuals living in the suburbs of Montreal, we define HNW worth as at least one million dollars in investable assets.

We have never done this before, usually our business is grown by word of mouth and centers of influence. The current market volatility might be creating an oportunity for us...so we are trying a new approach.

Our firm colors and logo. see website www.cclprivatecapital.com
We thought we might use statements or affirmations as part of the postcard mailers, but remain open to other creative ideas

Carwash Sign needs updating!

We are a carwash located in Ontario, Canada that is still independently owned and operated. We updated our entire equipment about 4 years ago and ran out of money for a new sign.

We need a new sign that will help attract new customers.

All people in the community that drive by our location. It is close to a busy intersection.

A carwash sign needs desperately to be re-designed; it is 20 years old. The picture of the existing sign is attached. There are 3 sections/panels to the sign and the top 2 need new graphic design (the project) and the bottom panel will be replaced with a scrolling LED sign.
Some of the Messages that can be conveyed (all messages don't have to appear, but a picture could say a thousand words); clean sparkling car; quality service; locally owned and operated; squeeky clean; top quality carwash equipment; friendly.

Packaging Design for Pinky Toes Product

Pinky Toes recently received a new look. Please see attached file for that image.

Now, Pinky Toes needs a packaging design.

The actual products are two small, nude-colored transparent silicone rings that go around your pinky toe. They protect the toe from corns, blisters and callouses. They are small (about .5 inch by 1 inch)

So the packaging MUST BE:
- small and discreet (women might not want to proclaim their use of toe products)
- able to be used for product storage (this is the most important part of the design: the packaging will be used for storing the product)
- eye-catching and cute (get creative!)

Some ideas that have been tossed around are:
- small tube that holds both toe rings. about the size of a small vitamin or pill box
- small treasure chest-looking box. I remember as a child receiving those to put my loose teeth in!
- cardboard or environmentally-friendly packaging
- small cosmetic or make-up looking compact
- ventilation in the packaging might be important for sanitary purposes

Remember that the actual product is no larger than .5 inch by 1 inch. There will be 2 rings in each box so make the designs small and discreet.

This product will be displayed in high-end department stores like Macy's and Bloomingdale's. Please make sure the packaging looks classy, neat and chic. Also, quality is a must.

Design for A5 Promotional Flyer

a little about us
our company called Funky Kinder Furniture, we sell cots and other nursery furniture

about this project
we need a single design for A5 promotional flyer. the final file should be print-ready format.

we attached our current logo to this project, also we locked our current color which you can see in our logo. but if you can add the other colors into this flyer thats should be good and fun colors.

about the photos
Picture '181' is for small picture, Picture '188' is cot picture for main picture and 'Cot2' is a photo of cot foot for small picture. Then picture of sleeping child i was hoping you could use in similar way to example flyer, it is full photo so you can cut into it.

about the example flyer
the things I like about this are: the photo of baby – softens everything, i love the swirl, cot in centre looks good and like the two picutures underneath in that style box. I think the white is important as it is easy on the eye and also respresents purity which relates to babies.

This cot/crib is for audience of mothers to be so does need to have a bit of softness to it.

about the text content
have tried to reduce it, let me know if it needs less words still.

so here it is the text content;

Sweet dreams start here…..........
With its elegantly curved headboards and legs featuring decorative feet, this solid cot is a safe choice for your little angel.

	•	High quality Solid Timber Cot

Creative Sales Leaflet / Flyer Design

About our company

Our website allows consumers to find tradespeople (eg. plumbers, builders, roofers etc) in their local area. The great thing is that you get to read what other customers have said about them, so you can find reliable tradespeople and avoid the cowboys.

What we need

We require an A5 leaflet design to be used as part of a marketing campaign. 50,000+ copies will be sent out...

Main aim of the leaflet:

1) promote consumer awareness of our brand and services - 'find tradespeople in your area that are being recommended by others.'
2) call to action - visit the website to find a reliable tradesperson

Requirements:

1) An A5 full-colour leaflet design suitable for printing
2) Our website name/logo is attached as a file to this project
3) IMPORTANT - When designing, please bear in mind what we are trying to do:

A - Attention (Awareness): attract the attention of the customer - feel free to find creative ways to attract attention (preferably related to what we do!)
I - Interest: raise customer interest - again feel free to be creative
D - Desire: convince customers that they want and desire the service and that it will satisfy their needs. (see below for why they should use us)
A - Action: lead customers to visiting the website. (see below)

The above happens over just a few seconds so it's very important for the design to be effective.

Why they should use our website:

- search for thousands of tradespeople online
- read what other customers say about them
- find recommended tradespeople and avoid the cow-boys
- no need to ring around for quotes - just relax

Call to Action:

- use 'post your project before Nov 1st and win a Nintendo Wii'
- or 'post your project before Nov 1st and win £150 off your preferred tradesperson's quote'

We are looking for original ideas for the leaflet. Some suggestions might be:

- use the theme 'no more cowboys'
- testimonials
- quote reviews of tradespeople and star ratings from the website, as a way to demonstrate its benefits

Acoustic Guitar Forum 2

Acoustic Guitar Forum, the world's largest acoustic guitar community is looking for a print design for our next CD! Your cover design will be seen daily by over 7000 acoustic guitar enthusiasts, and your artwork will be a part of musical history.

We are looking for a cover design with a modern acoustic guitar theme, which will carry across the entire product including the actual music CD. The CD liner is 4 panels, and aside from the cover, most of this will be filled with text. The tray card is two-panels (front/back), with a clear CD tray so that artwork is visible below the CD. The back of the tray card will be covered with text and a barcode. Therefore, the primary design points (your canvas) are the cover, the inside tray card, and the actual CD. The other panels need to have more subtle artwork to allow the overlay of text to be clear.

We need a total of 6 panels of color artwork and a CD design. Print-ready templates will be attached. The cover panel and the CD artwork need to include the title 'Acoustic Guitar Forum 2'.

Design: I'm attracted to modern designs that incorporate retro elements, like James Blunt's 'Back to Bedlam' CD - their heavy use of retro-patterns as a background and line-art for some foreground accents. A modern take on a classic American western motif might look good also. Design elements might include acoustic guitars but it's not absolutely necessary. These CD's are about the music. Let's see your ideas!

Award will also include several copies of the finished CD - your masterpiece! You will also receive credit for the artwork in the liner notes of the CD. We are offering two awards - one set of artwork will be used for Acoustic Guitar Forum Volume 2 and one for Volume 3 (scheduled for early next year).

New Product Label Suggestion: $1600

We are an advertising agency with a client who wants an idea from us regarding redesigning their package graphics. We need to impress them, but we will not be replacing Landor...
We will supply artwork of three bottles, along with a logo and three product names for an existing line of personal care products. We are looking for a new design that combines the rather contrary notions of nature and energetic optimism. Frankly, we've done a lot of gentle nature or non-natural energy designs internally: it's a tough assignment this.

Oh, and in addition to energy and optimistic optimism, they are also looking for the ever elusive 'shelf pop.' So we'll post a shot of their competitive on-shelf set as well.

HomeCineSolutions.fr needs refreshing a paper ad !

We're a growing french company selling quality consumer electronics to french markets. We're specialized in home-theater, high-fidelity, TVs, loudspeakers and videoprojectors. Visit www.homecinesolutions.fr to better focus on what we do.

Our direct competitor are www.hifissimo.com , www.magma.fr , www.cobrason.com . They all use massive ads with tons of products and slashed prices. We dont wanna do that. The nicest, www.son-video.com , is more subtle with nice photographs and a few products. That's nice, but we wanna be different. Push people to check out our website, mark their minds with how special we are.

We address high-tech fans, in magazines talking about High-Fidelity, Home-Theater and maybe high-tech gadgets.
here
We want something light, direct, striking, with nice fonts on a white background.
We want the read to stop turning pages because there is something different.

We would like a few "base templates" to display different messages, to emphasis on how, and what we sell :
- We have some of the best prices in France
- We try to offer the best customer service possible, before, during and after the sale.
- We sell a lot of different products, some rarely available on websites, some very high-end.
- We ban low quality, low price and focus on easy to use, sexy and long lasting products.
- We provide clean and explicit informations about these products : high definition photos, complete description, definitions of technical terms.

Ads should fit the french magazines pages : 210 x 297 mm. Source files that can be easily edited to change the text is required (we wanna re-use the template and just change the "striking" sentence).

You have to use our company logo (included, sorry for the low resolution) and the "gold guy" that can be seen everywhere on our site, or any other image. Gold Guy can be found on iStockPhoto.com.

We would like to keep the blue navigation bar that appears on the top of the site and display it on the bottom on the ad, with the list of products we sell : "ACCESSOIRES, CÂBLES, CHAÎNES, ENCEINTES, HIFI, HOME-CINÉMA, LECTEURS, ENREGISTREURS, MOBILIER, TÉLÉVISEURS, VIDÉO-PROJECTION"

Attached you can find an example of a mock up we did. You can also check this great selection of very nice ads, we love : http://www.tabblo.com/studio/stories/view/269023/

Good luck everyone, be creative !

For french speaking audience, here are some ideas for our advertising lines :

Avec des photos de produits pour illustrer, ou une ligne d'accroche "TV, Vidéo, Hi-Fi, Home-Cinéma"

"Trop de produits, trop de marques ? On a fait le tri pour vous. Il ne reste que le meilleur."
"Vous pensez avoir trouvé le meilleur prix ? Regardez un peu pour voir ..."
"On aime les bons prix. On déteste les mauvais produits."

"Plasma ? LCD ? WiFi ? MP3 ? USB ? Nous, on vous parlera français, pour une fois !"
"TV, Vidéo, Hi-Fi, Home-Cinéma : on ne vend que ça, mais on le fait bien."

London Games Fringe

Who we are:
The London Games Festival is one of the biggest games festivals in Europe and is now in its third year. The Fringe is a part of the festival and addresses all the areas that the main festival does not reach. We are based in central London around the west end. The festival is sponsored partly by the London Development agency but we rely on other sponsorship and support to make the festival free and open to all.

Last year over 100,000 people took part in the festival as a whole. Over 90% of fringe events are free and open to all. We have everything from street games, mobile games, discussion on new forms of entertainment, DS world record attempts, music in games events, interactive theatre, the business of interactive media and games, games poetry events, you name it, if it involves a link to games and interactivity then we will showcase it!People come to the festival to play, learn, innovate, and work.

Events can be serious, light hearted thought provoking and innovative.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a design for a flyer and poster.
Poster A3 size 300 x 423mm
trim 297 x 420 mm

A5 leaflet (either landscape or protrait)
300 x 423 mm
trim 297 x 420mm

As we are moving away from our old logo as it does not reach our target audience, (please see info below) we can play around with colours design and font for London Games Fringe.

If you feel inspired you can check out the artwork guidelines from our printer which has colour saturation and bleed details!

We have a website www.londongamesfringe.com . It has not been fully completed yet but there are images from last years festival which you might be able to use if you would like. As we are apart of the main festival we also have our events listed on www.londongamesfestival.com
White and warm colours are good. It needs to be inviting to all!
We need to have space across the bottom of the poster and the leaflet for logos. There will be around five logos from funders and sponsors.

Our target audience is:
This is a bit of a design challenge!
Currently the fringe demographics are around 65 % men and the rest women, we attract all ages from kids to professionals working in the games and other creative industries including TV, mobile animation, web and even music and theatre. Average age is around 24-38 years of age. We are looking for a simple but provocative design that will attract our diverse audience.
We want to be open to encouraging women and ethnic diversity into the industry. The festival attracts the trend setters, and innovators as well as the local community, we need something that will appeal to both. We are apart of the main festival so do attract their audience as well. www.londongamesfestival.com which are primarily gamers.

Our design absolutely must have: The logo that is attached needs to be on the flyer but does not need to be very prominent. The logo is quite aggressive and does not appeal to our diverse audience and we had trouble attracting the people we wanted because of it. But we have to use it this year on both the flyer and the poster, unfortunately, at least some where on the design. Even if it is at the bottom near the rest of the logos. So if you can think of a way using colour or any other way of lightening it up that would be great! We are not just about black, white and red but are more diverse than that.

Poster brief:
Full colour, see sizes above.
These will be placed at venues and shops in London. They will advertise the fringe. We are looking for something that grabs attention. If people walk past.

It would be good to have at least the following text:
London Games Fringe
Sat 25th Oct – Fri 7th Nov
A fringe festival filled with games and interactive entertainment. Come to ‘play, learn and innovate’.
See more at: www.londongamesfringe.com
Part of the London Games Festival.
Printed by the London Print Company (small at side or bottom)
We need to have space across the bottom of the poster for logos around five.

Leaflet brief:

full colour 2 sided. see sizes above.

There will be information about some of the events on the flyer please see below dummy text. There would be two sides. One can mirror the poster and the other should have listings of events

Front of leaflet.
Can be the same as the poster or reduced info.

Back of leaflet
each event will have between 30-40 words. And there will be 6 events advertised.

Example :
Event 1 – 28-29th October
Dummy text 30-40 words
www.event1.com

See more at: www.londongamesfringe.com
Part of the London Games Festival
Printed by the London Print Company
_____
Would rather avoid
Anything that is too cutting edge, dark or masculine won’t work as it will appeal to only a small section of our audience. i.e. a total black poster is not good. Also things that are too busy or patterned.

I would like something that is clean, and conveys medical content in an easy-to-read manner. The current layout is set-up to direct the reader from top left to the bottom and then right column and then to the back. If my design efforts do not convey this please know this is my intent. (I am not a professional and am not creative)

Package Design for Biscotti Cookies

I have a very successful bulk biscotti business and I am now interested in packaging my product for retail. My target audience is upscale coffee shops, gourmet stores and specialty shoppes.

I have chosen the packaging to be a white coffee bag with a window to showcase the product. I need artwork designed to cover the entire package with my name "Aunt Anna's Bicotti" featured on the front. I have the logo designed for my name which is currently recognized (but I am not objecting to a redesign of that). I need space for the nutritional information and ingredient list on the back of the bag.

Since I need to print 20,000 bags and printing costs being a concern, I am hoping for a design with 2 colors on a white bag. I am open to any color combination since I do not have graphic identity. My main objective is an eye catching design and an appealing color combination. Something fun and modern. I don't want the usual identity that is associated with a hard, dry Italian cookie. I want to appeal to hip individuals that frequent coffee shops and specialty gourmet stores.

We already have a huge gate sign that sits on posts...go to turnbullstudios.org to see. I want to replace the signs of the left with a clean direct sign to get people to come down the driveway to gallery and gardens.

Would like the colors to be red in background and white writing..a bit more creative and formal. Our writing is a bit on the asian side. Our garden is kinda zen like. Black and tan is welcome in the sign as well. Must draw people down the driveway.

Something that states the following:

"Stop!"
* fine art gallery
* sculpture garden
* Original paintings, ceramics, and jewelry by the finest Hawaiian artists.
* free artists studio tour
Come In.....

Open Mon-Fri 10am-5pm
private appointments welcome

I'm The Résumé Girl and I help college students and recent grads land their dream job or internship. I already have a fabulously designed WordPress site (www.TheResumeGirl.com) with existing branding and color scheme that I LOVE (green, brown, blue, and orange-red) with great "texture"!

And now I need an over-sized "Save the Date" postcard to advertise my two presentations: "Time to Launch" and "Saving Face" on a college campus.

I need this over-sized postcard to have information on the front about my two presentations and information about me on the back. I've provided a Word document with all of the copy/text.

The winning design needs to be in line with my current brand and color scheme. I've attached the .AI logo.

FIPPEX Newspaper Ad (Raising money for artists)

FIPPEX is a web-startup capital exchange.

We are looking to have a newspaper ad created to get the word out.

We have a logo, color theme and text -- we dont have the artistic talent to put it together in a "make-sense" way for our newspaper ad.

We'd like an ad that would fit/proportion for a 5'' wide x 3.25'' tall (1/8th page) rectangle box. We'd also like a version that would be proportioned for a 1/4th of a page.

WHO WE ARE:
Online capital/stock exchange. Out of the box.

WHO TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Artists. Writers. Actors. Filmmakers. Bands. Bloggers. Theatre Troops. Comedians. Entrepreneurs.

WHAT WE WANT IT TO DO:
We want a simple ad that will drive these type of people to a website link to get more information on our brand and site.

WHAT WE'D LIKE IT TO SAY:

We'd like the logo featured prominently.

We'd like the following text:

Are you an artist and need money for your next project?

Your band can tour. You can make that film. You can put on the best show in Chicago. You can quit your job while you write your next book.

Raise money on the FIPPEX Exchange. It's free. You sell stock in your project to investors. We handle the boring stuff. You create.

Let us know about your project by visiting FIPPEX.com

Chicago Graphic

We are an award-winning gift basket company, located in Chicago Il. We do a significant number of Chicago themed gifts for both corporate and consumer clients - therefore the final design needs to be appropriate for both.

We are looking for a graphic depiction that screams Chicago - particularly to people who are NOT from here. We will be using this in several different ways:

1. On a gift bag that will hold other Chicago gift items. The bag face will measure approximately 8"w x 10"h.

2. As a header for a package of Cookies. The header will measure about 6"w x 3"h.

3. Potentially on the front of a Journal.

4. Potentially as a label to put onto other items.

Because of the multiple uses we are looking for, a graphic that can be used in chunks is something that we are open to.

We need the design to be something that we can print in both 4 color and black and white (or any two color combo).

We have considered a great graphic depiction of the word Chicago or something including landmarks - but that is as far as we got. Our current Chicago designs can be found here: www.basketworks.biz/Sweet_Home_Chicago.htm The containers show there are commercially available - we like them but want something to call our own.

Please ask me anything you need to know. I would like the file in jpeg as well as eps.

Bag-in-Box Wines - Brand Name & Visual Identity

We are a small winery, developing a brand and visual identity for a new line of bag-in-box wines that we are starting to produce. The wines are very good quality, very drinkable and friendly, appealing to a broad market. We are looking at marketing these wines in grocery stores at entry-level prices among the bag-in-box wine category.
We are asking for both a name AND a visual identity. The visual identity that we’re asking you for is for a 5-liter box, probably rectangular for best fit in a refrigerator or on a pantry shelf, but we’re also looking into the feasibility of a cubed-shaped box (don’t worry about the shaped too much, we’ll adjust our design for manufacturability).
We need a simple and fresh look, eye-catching and easily extensible as the product line will grow. To start with, there will be three wines in three colors white, pink and red. The intent is that later we would add more wines to the line; so the same look must be kept with each wine being identifiable by a dominant color or other identity element.
The name (or some close form of it) must be available and must be useable as a website address as well. ONLY SUBMISSIONS WITH UNCLAIMED OR AVAILABLE (at reasonable prices) DOMAIN NAMES WILL BE CONSIDERED. We will register the winning name before picking the winner here. Dot-com is preferred, but any visually and/or phonetically pleasing domains will be considered.
Ours is a very competitive market, with some very large brands very well-established. We feel that the name and look of our boxes will be critical in getting shoppers to want to give us a try. The industry usually agrees that it must be made very obvious to shoppers that it is a box of WINE. We encourage you to go down to your local grocery store and look at bag-in-box wines: there is usually a glass or a picture of a bottle of the box. We feel there must be a prettier way to communicate this information while being just as quickly understandable.
We would prefer one word or very short names, probably evoking wine somehow (we thought of “Y’n not”, but we’re really not sure). We also thought of “Fridge” because these would normally be drunk chilled; but again, we’re not sold on it.
We feel that there are too many cute animals on wine bottle. Our first thoughts were along the lines of paintings of the mid-XXth century (Rothko, Mondrian, etc.), which have the merit of providing a color-oriented packaging allowing color-coding of each wine type.
We’ve also been thinking that we may need a series of pre-set graphics, such as a variety of black silhouettes to position on top of the colors, which would allow us to decline our wines into several products.
I’m sharing our preliminary thoughts with you so that you can understand us better, not to tell you what to think. We’re very open to all creative proposals that will hold together. You’re the designers, not us!
Keep in mind that printing costs are going to be a concern for us, so any recommendation on keeping them low will be welcome (few colors, tints, etc.).
We’ve observed that some other Crowdspring users had the same dilemma we have, whether to separate the competition for the name from the competition for the box visual. As they did, we also feel that both must work together, and that’s the reason we’re keeping them together, but please, don’t use names submitted by another creative, that would not be fair play.
Good luck! If anyone needs more information and wishes to get our first impression on a name before putting in a lot of hours of work, feel free to shoot us a PM.

CT ALF Chapter Brochure

The American Liver Foundation is the nation's leading non-profit organization that fights liver disease. There are 25 chapters across the country and the Connecticut Chapter is looking to design its own Chapter Brochure.

We have the text, colors and logo, we just need the design. We like brochures that are 9x12 but they do not fit correctly in our brochure holders, so if the brochure could be a bit smaller without costing more to print that would be great.

These brochures will go in physician offices across CT. The target audience is anyone 16 and over who has been affected by liver disease and may be interested in the Chapter's services.

The logo and color can not be changed. A pdf of the PMS has been provided. Fonts should be in the Myriad Pro family or the Berkeley family. This brochure should only be 2 color--black and Red.

flyer

We do heating and cooling and need a flyer which explains the true meaning of "affordable".
We originally named our business Affordable Comfort with a vision of offering affordable services. Since then, we have grown to specialize in energy conservation, green building, etc. - and we don't perform our services for green beans any longer. We're not ready to change our name so we want to focus on changing the buyer's perception of "affordable".
We need a flyer with a catchy explanation of what true affordablity is. (i.e. Low price rarely assures long-term satisfaction.) (Although I do not want to use this exact phrase because I feel that it focuses on the negative.) Instead, I want to focus on the positive and explain the benefits of choosing long-term savings (without necessarily mentioning price.) In other words, I would like to educate the consumer on affordable - versus explaining price.
We want to somehow draw the attention away from "low price affordable" to "long-term savings" affordable. We want to remove the idea that Affordable Comfort means "Cheap Guys R Us" and want to project the idea of a high-class, quality, and energy savings Affordable Comfort.
Our logo is attached. Our logo colors: Reflex Blue and 199 Red.

Fresh Seattle Company - Brochure Needed

About us:
CampusPoint’s mission is to create programs and services that serve to bridge the gap between local employers and college students and recent graduates. Every year we’re hiring for over 1,000 positions. We are opening doors with new and different employers that have never hired students and recent grads in the past.
CampusPoint is a FREE online resource dedicated to helping college students and recent college graduates find jobs and internships.
Please refer to our website www.CampusPoint.com to familiarize yourself with our company.
We need:
We are trying to synchronize all of our marketing materials
1. Tri-Fold Brochure – Size: 8x11 but we are OPEN to other sizes.
•	Attached File: “1. Tri-Fold Brochure”
o Example 1, 2 & 3 – Our Portland Office’s Tri-Fold Brochure
o	All testimonials up on our website
o	TriFold Brochure Content
2. Flyer/Poster – Size: 8 x 11 and we need to be able to enlarge it to a standard poster size.
•	Attached File: “2. Flyer Poster”
o	Flyer – Currently Passed Out at Career Fairs - WORD
3.	Testimonial – Size 8 x 11. Our testimonial is 1 or 2 sentences from a student and/or recent grad that has recently been placed through CampusPoint. It includes their photo. We need a template created that is a bit more eye catching.
•	Attached File: “3. Testimonial”
o	Testimonial – Currently Stuck on Career Fair Board - ADOBE
o	Testimonial – Currently Stuck on Career Fair Board - PDF
4. Business Cards
•	Attached File: “4. Business Cards”
o	Business Cards – Front & Back
5. Letter Head & Envelope

Target Audience
	Current Students and Recent Grads

Differences from our Competition
We have a very unique business model and our company is a 1/3 Job Board; 1/3 Career Center; and a 1/3 Staffing agency.
	We’re a 1/3 Job Board because unlike our competitors in the staffing industry we have 100% full disclosure on all of our job descriptions unlike our competitors. We include the pay, location and the name (and detailed profile) of each company that’s hiring for any particular position. Competition – Monster.com
	We’re 1/3 Career Center because we’re the only staffing company that strictly focuses on students and recent graduates and all of our jobs are entry level and meant for students and recent grads.
	We’re 1/3 Staffing agency (not a job board) because of our process when students or grads apply for jobs through us there is actually a whole staff behind the website looking to help that student or grad get the job. Competition – Kelly Services
Summary:
	Student and recent grads love us! Most all of the people who hear about us; hear about us because their friends are telling them about this great resource they found and/or got a job through us.

We like:
	We’re a fresh, exciting and fun company (yet professional) and we definitely give off that vibe when we interact with student and recent grads.
	We’d like the design to be edgy and show how we truly sympathize with the recent grads ourselves because CampusPoint is largely run by recent grads.
	We’re looking for a balanced amount of white space
	Creative use of typography to bring attention to the key marketing messages

Must Haves:
	You have full creative license to do whatever your mind can dream up! We’d like the marketing materials to be in sync and play off each other.
	Our Company logo must be used and unaltered. If you’d like to mimic it for other text:
o	Font: Georgia
o	Light Drop Shadow
o	Inner Bevel is used to make the letters pop
	The colors in our logo must remain the same and preferably the colors are used throughout the projects.
o	PMS #2935 for the royal blue in ‘Campus’
o	PMS #279 for the light blue in ‘Point’
	CampusPoint is ONE word and the C and P are always capitalized (even when listing out our website)

Publicity Handout for Web Service (5x7 Postcard)

Flashlight (www.flashlightapp.com) offers simple and affordable sales trending and inventory management for artists, craftspeople, hobbyists, and other small business owners who need to monitor inventory on hand and track sales trends across product lines.

We are looking to put together a 5×7 postcard to hand out to potential customers at art/craft festivals, who are typically creative, artsy folks. The postcard will not be mailed and therefore should not have an address field on it.

You have free creative rein over the color and design. However, I will tell you that I appreciate simplicity. Clean, professional fonts are best. Less colours are better. Less is more, etc.

You’re welcome to use any content, or images from www.flashlightapp.com. If you feel a particular stock image is a perfect fit and the design absolutely, positively must have it, let me know and I’ll consider purchasing it from iStockPhoto. The Flashlight logo is attached.

When mentioning the free trial, DO NOT mention the number of days; simply mention that a free trial exists. DO NOT mention the price of $10/month; simply mention that it is very affordable. DO mention that it’s easier than Excel or Quickbooks, secure and backed-up, always accessible online, as well as the other benefits listed on the site. Flashlight is online software, sold as a subscription-based service. It’s pay-as-you-go and can be canceled any time.

The design MUST include a white box, dimensions 3/4inch by 2inches, at a location of your choosing, where I will affix a sticker containing a coupon code. Somewhere around the box you should indicate that this coupon code can be used to receive a discount off the first month.

Technical Specifications: Printing will be done by www.mypostcardprinting.com, and the design must use the template at: http://www.mypostcardprinting.com/product_templates/templates/Postcard_5×7.zip . The design must be 300dpi, CMYK color FRONT AND BACK.

Medical Spa Menu (Tri-Fold Brochure)

We are a medical spa that specializes in cosmetic medical treatments such as Facials, Botox, Restylane, Laser Hair Removal, etc. We are a day spa, but with a Physician on-site overseeing all of our treatments.

We are looking to put together a very professional spa menu to provide to existing and prospective clients that gives them an overview of our business and services.

We have put the text together and it is attached. IMPORTANT: It does not have to appear exactly like we have it....it's just the text.

The colors of the brochure should match our logo (attached). The logo should appear on the front, back, and inside of the brochure.

We are attaching some spa images for the brochure that we can purchase from istockphoto.com. I want a women's face to be the front of the brochure (we are open to use other images if you have/can find any of them). YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE ANY OR ALL OF THE IMAGES ; JUST SAMPLES OF WHAT I LIKE.

There is an image of the doctor to place near the Dr's Bio.

In terms of the design, I like curvy lines. The brochure should look very professional and spa-like. Use illustrations and images to back the brochure really stand out. I really like white orchid flowers.

Beverage Can Design

Let me tell you about us:

Goddess Spirits LLP is introducing a family of 7 non-alcoholic, carbonated Martini products:

Goddess Martini
Goddess Lemon Drop Martini
Goddess Cosmo Martini
Goddess Manhattan Martini
Goddess Apple Martini
Goddess Blue Hawaiian Martini
Goddess Chocolate Martini.

Each of these will be packaged in a 6.8 oz can. The can is manufactured by www.ball.com and can be seen here: http://www.ballamericas.com/page.jsp?page=50&id=3.

Here is what we need:

We need a label design for each can. The label will need nutritional disclosures similar to what is found on a can of RedBull energy drink. The design will need to incorporate the attached “Goddess” logo, but in the color of your choice.

Our target audience is:

The audience for this product is anyone who wants to appear to be drinking, typically in a bar environment but does not want to ingest alcohol. For example, to get a non-alcoholic version of a “Lemon Drop”, customers will ask for a “Goddess Lemon Drop”. To get a non-alcoholic Martini, the bar customer asks for a “Goddess Martini”.

Some bar patrons will prefer non-alcoholic drinks because of health problems, prior DUI issues, or because they already had a couple of drinks and need to drive. Our research shows that men who drink alcohol socially earn salaries that are on the average 10% higher than men who do not. This number is 14% for women. This is the reason that bar patrons will choose a Goddess Martini product in a Martini glass over ice water in a plain water glass.

Our design absolutely must have:

The design must convey a feeling that this product is a real Martini, that it has real value, that it is traditional, that it is expensive, that it tastes great, and that it has been around for a long time. It must also convey that it is to be served in a traditional Martini glass.
Please use the supplied logo.
