We&apos;re a young company searching for a branding concept for MoonWater(tm) bottled water.  While the bottle will make clear that THIS WATER IS NOT FROM THE MOON, we hope to capture public excitement about the recent discovery of water on the moon in a tangible form.  We are looking for partners in charitable organizations that support space exploration causes, who would receive a portion of MoonWater(tm) sales.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a label that will be affixed to MoonWater(tm) bottles, including graphics and a prominent display of the MoonWater(tm) brand, ideally in a humorous presentation.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Initial customers are concession, bookstore and cafeteria facilities related to tourist venues, airports, transit centers, museums, science centers, party locations, and other venues attractive to children, and attractive to others interested in space and exploration.

We want adults to laugh at the opportunistic nature of the product, and ideally tongue-in-cheek humor (examples - &quot;Scientists believe water on the Moon may have an H20 molecular structure; we&apos;ve captured this molecular structure for your Earthbound enjoyment;&quot; &quot;NASA launched a rocket into the moon to obtain water.  We offer similar results at a drastically lower price.&quot;)

We want to spark children&apos;s imagination.


WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don&apos;t want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

The moon must be a prominent element of the design.  We have attached two files designed to provide dimensions and certain requirements with respect to the label design.  The first is a more detailed file showing some required information, in a 10oz label format.  The other two are design files for a .5 liter label format.  We anticipate that the 10oz label may be too small to accommodate the details of our desired branding, so are looking for designs that would apply to the .5 liter format</description>

We are looking for one label design in three different colors and various different sizes. The look and feel needs to be industrial and/or light truck related. We would like to see red, blue (royal or close to it), and green (kelly or close to it) as the colors to be used. We would also like to see a monochromatic image of a semi-truck in the background of the label (maybe even faded into the background). Attached you will see some of the competitive labels that are currently in the market.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

The target audience are urban upwardly mobile people. They enjoy working out, going to restaurants and eating well but also enjoy the occasional sweet indulgence.

      <description>LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Our product is a health beverage, which comes in cobalt-blue colored wine bottles.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

Please look at the uploaded example before beginning this project. 

The product label will be 9&quot; x 5&quot;. The label will also be transparent, and the bottle is cobalt-blue colored. Therefore, the design must take into consideration that the the blue background will show through the transparent label, and create your design accordingly. 

We&apos;d like to ask that you do not deviate too much from the example that is attached. All of the information must be the same, however you are encouraged to add some creative twist to the fonts and design. We&apos;d like to stick to a similar layout, and we like the &quot;A&quot; with stars as our logo. 

In the uploaded example, you will see that there are some fruits pictured on the label. These MUST be included. These fruits are: Mangosteen, Yumberry, and Acai Berry (Left), and Pomegranate, Blueberry, and Black Raspberry (Right). Please keep in mind that these must also stand out against the blue bottle. 

Another thing worth noting is that there must be a small space for us to stamp the expiration date. This is located on the lower-right corner of the example. It must be at least slightly opaque, so the black stamp will show. 

I have attached the specific artwork specifications that is from the printing company.

**VERY IMPORTANT** - We would like the product to contain a metallic gold color.  This cannot be achieved with CMYK color, so we need you to design this label using spot colors.  This way, the printer can use a metallic gold for the border, or wherever else you may choose to use this metallic gold color.  

I have also attached the product barcode, which is: 094922956675.  The barcode must be displayed somewhere on one of the side-panels, preferably discreetly.

We are the leading importer of Argentine wines in the US. We own a wine brand called Budini.  Budini is an existing line of delicious, everyday drinking wines produced in Mendoza, Argentina and only available in the US. Budini wines are line-priced at $11 and offer an amazing value.

The line currently consists of Chardonnay, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Other varietals may be considered in the future.

Budini was initially named after the rare and beautiful wild pampas cat of Argentina, Oncifelis colocolo budini, and explains the cat that currently adorns all Budini labels. (see attached brief for label shot, or visit http://www.vineconnections.com/viewproduct.php?c=1&amp;pid=122

The Budini wines are produced at Dominio del Plata (DdP) winery in Mendoza, Argentina. DdP is owned by Susana Balbo and her own brands include Susana Balbo Signature, Crios, BenMarco, and Nosotros. Susana’s son, José, is the winemaker for Budini and is a recent graduate of UC Davis’s winemaking program (considered the pinnacle in US wine education). He now is able to begin his lifelong dream of becoming a winemaker in one of the hottest wine regions in the world. 

DdP is an ISO 22000-certified winery (rigorous audited standards for food safety in 72 countries) and employs sustainable grape-growing and winemaking practices, e.g., no pesticides or fertilizers are used in the vineyards, though they are not certified organic.

DdP is also a socially responsible organization having established the Dominio del Plata Foundation that offers educational assistance to winery worker families. A portion of Budini sales will be donated to this foundation.


HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

Starting in 2010, Budini wines will be re-positioned and re-packaged to better reflect the eco-friendly and socially responsible nature of these wines. The retail price will remain at $11/bottle. 

The wine will come in a 100% recycled/recyclable glass bottle. The label will be printed on 100% recycled/recyclable paper. Eco-friendly ink will be used on both labels and cartons. The bottle closure will be either recycled/recyclable cap or natural cork, no plastic.

The first package component slated for re-design is the front label.  Please submit 3 different label concepts based on the information above and the guidelines below by Friday, November 19th.

New Front Label Guidelines
1. Brand, varietal and vintage should be visible. Please use Malbec as the varietal on your label.

2. Should be eye-catching, bold, contemporary, edgy. Can be “kitschy” but cool. (Check out http://www.thecoolist.com/amazing-wine-labels-30-creative-and-unique-wine-label-designs/ for some inspiration if needed!) The market for $10-$15 wine is very competitive so a label that jumps off the shelf is a necessity.

3. Please avoid using the following traditional/stereotypical images or visual references: gauchos, tango, cats or any other animal, vines, grapes, Argentine flag or its components, mountains.

4. Avoid use of the color green or “kraft paper brown” since these are common packaging colors for many eco-friendly products.  

5. Font styles should be modern and easy to read, no script or loopy lettering.

6. There are no limitations on label shape as long as it can be applied to a standard wine bottle using a self-adhesive label.

We are a family owned vineyard and winery in Northern California that has been in business for over 30 years and produces wine under three different brands.  We are a relatively small company but we do distribute our brands in over 20 domestic markets and 10 countries.  

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need an additional wine label design for a wine that will retail between $10 and $12 and will be sold primarily in the U.S.


OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our target audience is both seasoned wine drinkers looking for a good value, everyday wine and consumers who are confused and overwhelmed with the numerous choices of wines on their shelf and are intrigued by our unique and/or fun design.  The names Chase and Sarah are important names to our family.  Using the play on words to sound like &quot;chasing Sarah&quot;,  we pictured two distinctly different styles of labels and are open to either concept.  The first would be a label that appears a bit more upscale and classy, possibly utilizing a  silhouette of Chase and Sarah running up a hill or in a vineyard, with of course, Chase chasing Sarah. The images don&apos;t have to be large, there needs to be sufficient room to list the wine varietal (Cabernet Sauvignon), year (2008) and appellation (Mendocino).This concept would make them think very upscale, nice clean packaging for a good price.  The second concept would be a bolder, brighter more exciting and colorful.  Picture kids play room, blocks, color crayons, coloring outside the lines etc... We need the graphics for the gravity feed as the same image will also appear on the individual wrapped candy product.  The KABOOM! name should appear on the front side of the display and product names like Strawberry, Apple, Blue Raspberry can appear on the bottom area as well.

Our products are consumed by kids ages 4 to 12 so we want packaging that looks fun with bright colors.  The KABOOM name relates to the flavor of the gum as it is very sour in taste.

We are looking for someone who can design cool yet sophisticated design based loosely on a real acetate shoe box. We are looking for someone to design the artwork of a card insert that will then go inside the acetate box. The die for this can be downloaded.

Your task is to design an insert that is cool and fresh based on the feel of designer shoes but need to make clear they are speakers as well as keeping the whole Italian Chic theme. The wine brand name is Old Toll Road Cellars, and the Old Toll road literally runs right through our property.  This was the road between Mendocino county and Lake county and was the only access between the two regions for years.  A new highway was built over 50 years ago and now the old toll road is barely used.  

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a label produced for a wine that will sell between $10-12 per bottle.  The label size should be about 3 inches wide by 4 inches tall.  The wine will sell primarily at retail wine shops and supermarkets. The wine is a 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, and that needs to be on the label.  the label should also have the name &quot;Mendocino&quot; on it as its appellation, or point of origin of the grapes.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our target audience is everyday wine drinkers who want a good bottle of wine at a good price. Most of our wines are Estate bottled, which means the wine is produced from grapes that we own.  many of our competitors in this price range buy bulk juice and bottle it.  their wines are different every year, whereas ours are consistent. Our target audience would appreciate knowing that the wine comes from a specific place year after year.

i couldn&apos;t find any other wine label designs on your site, but i would say the colors should be earth tones, the font should be readable from 3 to 4 feet away, not elegant, but not too cartoonish.  it should convey a sense of space,  should be authentic, not stuffy.

Our winery is the first sustainable carbon zero winery in the world. We are from New Zealand and the owners of the company are a group of young people in their 20&apos;s that want to take the snobbery out of wine and make it fun and accessible for everyone. We like to think of ourselves as the new face of wine and therefore want the packaging to be reflected in a way that is fresh modern and cleverly artistic. 


HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo (check our other project posted for the logo it is a different job)  and package design for our new brand &quot;New World Wine Co&quot;. Being that we are an eco-friendly wine company our wine will be packaged in tetra packs (a fancy name for boxed wine) The dimensions of the tetra pack 3L cube is 10x10x10 &amp; the 1L that is a tall rectangle that is 5 x 5 x 9 (LxWxH)  (inches). and it will have rounded edges versus the traditional sharp edges. The front section of the box will contain the brand information and must include the following traditional wine label elements. The most important being the Name of the Company(New World Wine Co) varietal(Sauvignon Blanc) Region(Marlborough New Zealand). Sustainable &amp; carboNZero.The rest are secondary; year(2009) and  volume(750mls).

We are also attaching an image of concentric circles that is actually an optical illusion (so as you focus on the dot in the middle of the circles and move towards the image they appear to be moving in unison in a clockwise direction) and we would like this to be the symbol of the company and incorporated into the packaging somehow. Being a sustainable company, we like the idea of things coming full circle and working in unison together. The idea is that it will grab peoples eye and attention when sitting on the shelf and also represent the core values of our company. That being said, you will have allot of surface area to play with on the other 2 sides of the cube, the back must be kept clear for the wine description and technical information and another side for additional text and description of how we have crbonzero products. 

Things to translate in this design would be pure New Zealand, fun, young, delicious, organic looking, something modern that would stand out on the super market shelf and look good on the dinner table (not like a cheap box of wine!) . You can also play around with the printing, by incorporating textured varnishes,metallic inks,complex embossing and debossing (UV inks out of four color process, various textured coatings, pearl and thermochromic coatings) So add some notes if you ant to play around with textures in the printing process.

The design needs to have the ability to change varietal and region/country for other offerings from our range. So please think about colors/design, we would need them to be different but obviously from within a range from the same brand. 

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our target audience is 21-40 predominately female. We would like them to be surprised that a box wine looks this good compared to the old school traditional design of boxed wine. We want people to be impressed and want to tell and show people how there is this really delicious boxed wine that is a good price and the packaging is modern and clever along with being eco - friendly.

e are not looking for a typical box wine design, there is really nothing out there we like in which we can show you an example. We need a 2-3 color package design for our single serve packages.  The package dimensions are 1.875&quot; x 2.5&quot;  and is made out of Paper/Poly/Foil/Poly.  These packages, similiar in size to sugar packets, will be used by individual hookah smokers and people who smoke hookah at hookah bars.  They will rip one corner of the pouch and pore the the entire pouch of powder directly into their hookah water.

Hookah and other water pipe smokers who are 18-30.  The market is split fairly evenly between college students and recent grads.  We would like them to know that Smoke Skreen makes their hookah smoking experience less harmful and more pleasurable. We&apos;re building a plane and need to do the exterior graphics / paint soon and need someone that has some skill to do the design so it looks ok.


HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

A drawing with enough detail that we can have the painters / printers recreate it.  Use the SonexSketch pdf as a start - wingspan is 22&apos; for reference.  There are two main styles we are looking at - the polished with some graphics and paint, fully painted.  Then there would be three other groups - military looking - like an old mustang or similar WWII plane, &apos;standard&apos; small plane, or something completely different - giant hornet (something that would be like a fully graphics wrapped car. - this could be really cool - lots of range here.)

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Me, the build crew and other folks I&apos;ll show the plane too.

18-1 – I don’t like the way the cowling is painted to emphasize where the fiberglass ends.
162-1 – Nice clean look, stripes are well done., single color tends to emphasize the less the attractive nose.  Add a logo to the tail and maybe use a different color
179-2 similar to the 162-1 but not as nice, Text inline with the strip looks better?, darker color on the 162 – better, (better angle and lighting for the 162 maybe too)
212-2 More typical – kind-of plain
249-1 don’t like the yellow , the swoop and the bird? Is kind of interesting.  
300-1 ok but . . .
362-1 little more style but, maybe I don’t want that much white.  
365-1  I like the stripes some , maybe if the body stripes went the other direction or at least matched the angle of the canopy? Black and white doesn’t flow well with the red.
383-3 I like the checkers, the yellow color – no, not a bad amount of white – maybe a better style then the other ‘white’ ones, color on top?
440-3 like the 383, red looks better, overall ok 
444-3 Not bad – but I wouldn’t want purple.
514-3 nice design, maybe with a silver base instead of the white. . . ?
535-1 Flames and checkers look ok,  yellow-red and silver combo not so much.
566-1 nice design, though again with the white – of course no Tennessee helmet on the back. 
642-2 bad blue. . . plain
651-1 red wing sweep –good idea but not quite, body design has some character but to white 
688-2 flag works, simple lines but not as nice as 162-1
732-1 no thanks
765-1 arg . . . 
780-1 not the best implementation of the checkers, but ok, still don’t like the yellow.
867-1 gray might be ok – but weak design
939-1 interesting trim – maybe red on black/gray?or some other color combo
801-1 nice look overall , still not sure about the yellow or the combination 
801-3 I like tying in the bottom to the pattern some
Xenos-20-1 nice polish the middle stripe should move?
1024-2 nice – needs some thing more, metallic paint nice but shows panels more too.
178-2 nice polish – maybe we need an aluminum cowling. . . 
mustang checker- there now with the metal cowling – looking a little better. . .

No grape, pink, light blue or butter cup yellow, not overly plain, avoid lines that match the cowling angle in the front.  Maybe bigger numbers on the side, US flag on the tail or gadsen flag logo (don’t tread on me snake.)</description>
