      <title>Create a Cute, Adorable, Cuddly Red Panda </title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/create_a_cute_adorable_cuddly_red_panda</link>
      <description>LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are creating a new website aimed at the mainstream consumer. We want a mascot of sort that is friendly and adorable. The site will have very few graphics and will be quite clean and modern, so having a character will give it so much personality

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We want a vector based character design of a Red Panda. We want it to vibrant and bold. We do not want a great deal of detail or photo realism. It should be instantly recognizable. We want to make it look very young, as if it were maybe a baby Red Panda, so larger eyes and face. It should look happy and eager. The look should also be quite flat, nothing glossy. It should be sitting upright and the tail should be on the right side of the character, since it will be positioned to the right of our logo. The character should look good at 50px tall as well as 500px

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

We are targeting mainstream internet users who are not very tech savy. Our site relies very heavily on their trusting us and thinking we are cool. This character will help convey these ideas.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don&apos;t want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We want to use this color #FF8400. The eyes must be very cute and baby like. </description>

      <title>Three T-shirt Graphics needed for Upscale Men&apos;s Hemp Clothing Line! </title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/three_t_shirt_graphics_needed_for_upscale_men_s_hemp_clothing_line</link>
      <description>LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Our company is called Substance, out tag line is Look Within. We are a high end hemp clothing line that strives to educate people through fashion. Our clothing is made from hemp that is soft and luxurious and is contrary to the average perception of hemp. Our demographic is the &quot;thinking man!&quot; Our logo is a depiction of Rodin&apos;s The Thinking Man.

All of our clothing will have a message on the inside, hence the tag line, look within. Some shirts, however, will have a graphic/image on the outside with a narrative on the inside. All of the messages will be relevant to hemp, its history, folklore, potential uses, the reason it was banned and provide enough information to prompt people to consider hemp as a viable alternative resource.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

Shirt #1 - Inside the shirt will read: The first American flag was made from hemp cloth.

Concept for graphic: crops being weaved into the the first American Flag or something to that effect.

Shirt # 2 - Inside the shirt will read: Hemp is the number one plant for producing clothing, paper, plastics, building materials, fuel, cosmetics and an array of cleaning and paint products.

Concept for graphic: A very cool, unconventional depiction of this (this is a tough one!)

Shirt #3 - Inside the shirt will read: 1 acre of hemp can produce as much paper as 4 acres of trees. Much of the world&apos;s paper was made from Hemp until about 1850.

Concept for graphic: Open to artist&apos;s interpretation.

We would like to see the t-shirt graphic with the matching narrative as it will appear on the shirt.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Men (or the women that will shop for them), 20 to 60, stylish and trendy. Environmentally conscious, intellectually curious and discerning taste.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

Muted and subtle colors and graphics that are more interesting and artistic. Something deemed more intellectual.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don&apos;t want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

No graphics with the marijuana leaf. No Ed Hardy type designs!</description>

      <title>Silly Cartoon Character Development for a Brew Pub!</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/silly_cartoon_character_development_for_a_brew_pub</link>
      <description>LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

PROJECT: We need a funny, active character to represent a brewery/brew pub for kids’ menus, balloons, events, and other marketing. It can be anything or any person that positively reflects a brewery and is suitable to kids. Mister Hops, Mister Sudsy, Master Brewer, Barley Sam, Hop Monster, some googlie-eyed fry gobbler, or just a sweet, friendly kid with a wagon… Heck, whatever crazy character you might conjure up.

AUDIENCE: 3 to 12 year olds, boys AND girls

PARAMETERS: Must have 6 (SIX) different poses and/or facial expressions of your choice. If your character is not nongender, please consider sketching at least one female version. Be as simple or as complex as you’d like (or as you think KIDS will like!). Perhaps it would be a good idea to develop one drawing to see how it is buyer-rated, then carry 4+ star scores into more poses. The award will to go 6 poses.

COLORS: Any color palette you want to use, but please keep in mind that the character will be printed in both CMYK process and 1-color silkscreen.

TECHNICAL: Vector art required, AI &amp; EPS format.

OTHER: This project is a “trial”—if a cS creative feeds us great art, we’re going to post many more. There are TWO awards. Please consider sending us notes about this project and your thoughts on the $ we offered, etc. so that we can improve/refine our requests in the future. We’ve looked up other illustrative work and seen offers for $150 with absolutely fantastic results, which is the basis we used to set our $. Thank you very much for your consideration.

      <title>Photostyles for DAZZ.com</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/photostyles_for_dazz_com</link>
      <description>LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Dazz.com is a photo restyling service that turns ordinary photos into a collection of digital art known as &apos;photostyles&apos; to improve the look of photo gifts.

DAZZ is a branch of Personello - a leading German manufacturer of personalized photo gifts producing over 200 000 products per annum for the German market. The company has a development team with experience in Web 2.0 coupled with an in-house production department and over 1500 active partners.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We are lookting for new photostyles for the US market. A photostyle can consist of a background image that will replace the customers original photo background. A typical example would be a customer who has a great portrait shot of a person with an ugly background. DAZZ frees the background from the person and replaces it with your photostyle image.
You can go further by using all sorts of image processing techniques available in Adobes photoshop to make more sophisticated photostyles. A typical example is the &quot;Sepia Photostyle&quot;. It consists of the sepia background image and a Photoshop action to colorize the family portrait.

For a first project here on crowdspring, we would like to ask you for a christmas photostyle. Something like the Photostyle &quot;Santa&quot;. We need two rectangular versions with differing aspect ratios to cover different photo gift shapes like mugs and cushions. Please use the example provided on our photostyle example page.

We will integrate the winning photostyle into DAZZ.com and make it available for a worldwide audience.

Example Photostyle and guideline:
http://www.dazz.com/crowdspring

Sepia Photostyle:
Cup: http://www.dazz.com/rg/de/th/default/client/previewproduct.html?fi=6∋=0π=2
Other photo gifts: http://www.dazz.com/rg/de/th/default/client/previewfotostyle.html?fi=6∋=0

Santa Photostyle:
Cushion: http://www.dazz.com/rg/de/th/default/client/previewproduct.html?fi=17∋=0π=3
Other photo gifts: http://www.dazz.com/rg/de/th/default/client/previewfotostyle.html?fi=17∋=0

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our customers are people who take digital photos and are about to buy some kind of photo gift. Examples would be mugs, t-shirts, postcards, mousepads ...

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

The photostyles are a matter of taste and so we do not want to interfere.
We encourage you to test DAZZ.com by uploading one of your own photos to see the existing photostyles and to get an idea of how the service works. This is free of any charge.

      <title>Sis Meliss bottle lables</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/sis_meliss_bottle_lables</link>
      <description>To learn more about our company, please visit www.SisMeliss.com. The website gives a basic understanding of where the company has been and where we would like the company to go.

Included with this information are copies of our current labels and some ideas of where we would like the design of the new labels to go.

Product descriptions:
- Garlic Vinaigrette – An all natural salad dressing that is fit for a vegetarian and vegan diet. The product has no added sugars and uses only Extra Virgin Olive oil (no soybean or canola oil). The product is soy and gluten free. There are no added preservatives and/or fillers. The ingredients are listed in the attached back label for the product. This product is provided in an 8 oz. and 16 oz. bottle.
- Classic Caesar dressing - An all natural salad dressing that has no added sugars and uses only Extra Virgin Olive oil (no soybean or canola oil). The product also has no anchovies. The ingredients are listed in the attached back label for the product. This product is provided in an 8 oz. bottle.

The bottles being used for the labels are considered to be traditional salad dressing bottles. In the foods industry the bottle is called the “bango” bottle. It’s the same kind of bottle used by Organicville and Annie’s Natural salad dressings. The dimensions of the bottle’s label are the follow for the 8 oz and 16 oz bottles.

8 oz. – 3.875 inches in height and 2.750 inches in width (from center) and 2.50 inches in width at bottom of bottle.
16 oz. – 4.250 inches in height and 3.250 inches in width (from center) and 3.0 inches in width at bottom of bottle.

Purpose: Redesign front labels of our two flavors of salad dressings.
- One of the designs will be used for a Garlic Vinaigrette salad dressing 8 oz. and 16 oz. bottles. The other label is for our Classic Caesar dressing on an 8 oz. bottle.

Goals: Create a fresh design that will convey our business is progressing from a low budget “ma &amp; pa” business to an up-and-coming and MUST HAVE “ma &amp; pa” business. We want a more professional look that will catch a prospective buyer’s eye with an appeal of class but still with an element of a “ma &amp; pa” quality product.

Demographics:
- Our products are considered a “high end” buy and the ingredients are the reason for the higher price. Our products are double in cost compared to a Paul Newman’s Own, Wish Bone, Hidden Valley Ranch, etc. and they are not really considered our closest competitors. We compete mostly against other smaller companies like Organicville (www.organicvillefoods.com) and Annie’s Naturals (www.anniesnaturals.com).
- Our products are mainly carried in Whole Foods in Southern California with the hopes to expand within Whole Foods on a national basis.

Idea of new labels:
- Within each new front label we would like the design to be themed around the flavor. Currently we have two flavors but we do plan to add 2-3 more flavors.
- We&apos;d like to see if we can use a cartoon/caricature of the creator (Melissa) of this product “Sis’ Meliss” in the center of the label. The idea is kind of like Paul Newman&apos;s dressing. With Paul Newman&apos;s dressing, his face is designed around the dressing&apos;s flavor. What we would like to do is create a kind of &quot;paper doll&quot; we can add features to that match the dressing&apos;s flavor. For the Caesar dressing, a figure dressed in a toga. For the garlic vinaigrette, a figure dressed in an apron holding a basket of vegetables&apos;. The cartoon/caricature would look similar to Melissa and we would want the image to be eye-catching and not over the top. Attached are photos of Melissa and the picture of her with short hair is closer to how she looks right now. A drawing with a “Melissa” with medium to short hair would work as well.
- With the design of the new labels, I’ve attached what had been most-recently created. We do like how these were looking, however we are not set on them. If you can make a better design, please feel free to submit what you think.
- We have a new logo and must use that new logo within all labels. We like the idea of adding certain elements to the logo that are fitting to the salad dressing’s flavor. A laurel wreath over the “M” for the Caesar dressing, a garlic bulb over the “M” on the garlic vinaigrette, etc.
- Form our old labels; we used artwork hand-drawn from Melissa’s mother. The drawings are part of our history but understand if we cannot use them to where they look professional and/or good, we will move on.
- As an outline around the cartoon/caricature, we liked the idea of it themed to the salad dressing flavor. For the Caesar dressing we like the laurel wreath. We would like to use the laurel we found on istockphoto.com. The one we would like to use is file #: 610858. It is titled olive wreath vector. For the Garlic vinaigrette, a vine with garlic bulbs would be the way we would go.</description>

      <title>Logo/Illustration for GarageSalesNear.Us</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/logo_illustration_for_garagesalesnear_us</link>
      <description>We&apos;re developing a new site to find local garage sales called GarageSalesNear.Us - the site will be a map mashup that displays local garage sales based on an entered address

We need a great logo for the header of the page and to truly define the layout further. We&apos;re looking for a somewhat cartoon-ish logo that highlights a yardsale/garage sale in the background with a &quot;Garage Sale&quot; sign up front with an appended highlight of &apos;Near Us&apos;. If there&apos;s a way to spell out it&apos;s a local search from a map, much like http://meetinbetween.us does with their logo, all the better.

For cartoon reference - I pictured something like http://www.spendingless101.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/garage.gif - smaller obviously, and Garage Sale rather than Barn like that cartoon :).

People shopping for a bargain in todays rough economy, people looking for the hidden gems only found in garage/yard sales, the groups of housewives that just love to go get more clutter :)

Love MeetInBetween.Us, Like the cartoon feel of http://www.spendingless101.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/garage.gif, love

A garage sale depicted in the background with a Garage Sale in the foreground with &quot;Near Us&quot; appended somehow, possibly integrating a map view as a transparent background?

      <title>Slides In Jacks Up - RV Lifestyle Brand</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/slides_in_jacks_up_rv_lifestyle_brand</link>
      <description>We are an apparel lifestyle brand catering to RV enthusiasts. The name of our Company is Slides In Jacks Up. This is an underserved market in terms of merchandise and we are filling that void with a line to be launched in late January. Note to creatives: Should the winning project be a success with our sales team there will be a minimum of 5 additional projects before January and then on-going work thereafter. Once we find a designer we like and trust we will be loyal.

We would like to start this project with a t-shirt design. It will be on the back of the shirt, our logo will be on the left sleeve. The t-shirt design for this project will center around the saying, &quot;Home is where you put your jacks down&quot; the saying must be incorporated into the illustration and should be color-rich. The illustration should be in a format easily converted to be silk screened onto t-shirts, totebags and embrodered onto baseball caps.

Our demographic/market is people that own and travel via luxury RV coaches - Baby Boomers and Retirees alike. However, this is by no means an &quot;old&quot; crowd, these are adventurists, tourists, nature lovers and families.

We are marketing and selling to a niche group with high net worth. The design should reflect the look and feel of other high-end lifestyle brands like Margaritaville.com and Tommy Bahama.

Relevant designs should include apsects of nature, relaxation and the adventurous spirit. These should NOT be drugstore souvenir shirts. Nor should there be any &quot;pop-up&quot; campers or tow-behinds - think Rock Star motor coaches. Luxury!

      <title>Car Wrap For Computer Support Company</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/car_wrap_for_computer_support_company</link>
      <description>We are a small computer support company based in Santa Barbara, CA. We serve both homes and small businesses, however our main focus is on small businesses, and startups.

The majority of our work is done onsite, at the client’s business, and we drive company cars to get there. We currently have two Scions that are wrapped with our logo and company colors (see attached). We’ve recently purchased two white Xterras that we also want wrapped. We’re looking to keep a similar look and feel, but hoping for something a little more modern and dynamic. As you can see from our current Scions, and from some of the examples below, we tend to like partially wrapped designs. We are not against a full wrap, but most of the time, they are louder than what we are looking for.

Business owners and employees are our primary audience, however as we serve homes as well, anyone with a computer is also our audience.

We are very much into simple designs with clean lines and easy to read elements. We feel that a person driving by has a few seconds to see the car and absorb its message. We really don’t like a vast majority of the wraps we’ve seen out there, as we find most to be way too loud, and difficult to read.
Some examples of wraps we’ve liked are:

Ergon. Nice simple and clean. One of our favorites. We probably need to squeeze in a little more text though, like phone number and tag line.
http://www.adsonwheels.com/components/com_zoom/www/view.php?popup=1&amp;q={obfs:225227208219224263275286217223203263268271286219209259224215219214263286220219208263275}

One of the better Xterra wraps out there. High contrast, clean lines. We’d want our logo larger. Normally we don’t like images in wraps, but a generic image like the one on the side windows isn’t too bad.:
http://www.topwraps.com/wrap-photo.asp?cid=5&amp;pid=3789

Stands out, clean lines. We don’t really like red logo on red background, but not too bad.
http://www.adsonwheels.com/components/com_zoom/www/view.php?popup=1&amp;q={obfs:225227208219224263275286217223203263273273286219209259224215219214263286220219208263275}

If you lose the photograph, this is a superb design. There are clean design elements continued throughout (logo has black and red outline, car has black “outline” along red “wave”, ties in nicely with wheel cover).
http://www.adsonwheels.com/components/com_zoom/www/view.php?popup=1&amp;q={obfs:225227208219224263275286217223203263272270286219209259224215219214263286220219208263275}

This one is pretty good, possibly a little ambitious with the amount of info presented, get rid of Computers Networks Web Sites below Carisma and it would be great (besides obviously the red text in halo against red gradient background). Nice integration of native features such as wheel wells on the Beetle which normally draw the eye to highlight info.
http://www.adsonwheels.com/components/com_zoom/www/view.php?popup=1&amp;q={obfs:225227208219224263275286217223203263274274273286219209259224215219214263286220219208263275}

Elegent, high contrast, and bright colors:
http://www.carwrapusa.com/samples/cars/homegrocer/homegrocer01.htm

Bright colors, easy to read (though white text on red may have been better). Interesting way to incorporate logo on the side:
http://www.carwrapusa.com/samples/cars/login_networks/loginnetworks01.htm

We absolutely must have: Our logo, prominent, on both sides, on the hood, and on the back. Use of our main colors, orange and blue. Our phone number and website, as well as our tagline.

We do not want to see: text must not appear with halo or drop-shadow, against a gradient, photo, or same-color background. Here are some examples of wraps we DISLIKE:
http://www.adsonwheels.com/components/com_zoom/www/view.php?popup=1&amp;q={obfs:225227208219224263275286217223203263268270286219209259224215219214263286220219208263275}

Orange logo with halo against orange, bad.
http://www.adsonwheels.com/components/com_zoom/www/view.php?popup=1&amp;q={obfs:225227208219224263275286217223203263274270273286219209259224215219214263286220219208263275}

Viewers should be able to identify our logo, and what our business does in 3 seconds. Communicating contact info is about the only other thing we should attempt to fit (phone and website). Below is a hysterical example of too many logos oddly placed, a tiny bulleted list on the back, and halos around the logo so that it can be on same color background which makes it hard to read, and almost impossible to read the line right under NetTech. Random outline in yellow for the phone number and website. White text with red outline on the door below. No consistent design themes in place.
http://www.adsonwheels.com/components/com_zoom/www/view.php?popup=1&amp;q={obfs:225227208219224263275286217223203263275275272286219209259224215219214263286220219208263275}

      <title>Sub-brand image for LASER rejuvenation (medical services)</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/sub_brand_image_for_laser_rejuvenation_medical_services</link>
      <description>Hello all,

We run a cosmetic clinic that specializes in medical cosmetic treatments, such as LASER hair removal, LASER rejuvenation, LASER vein treatments, liposuction, botox, implants etc. Our main advantage is our high level of medical knowledge and skills, combined with the use of state of the art LASER technology.

We have decided that we need sub-brand images for each of our services. We face the problem of our customers not being aware of all of our services and it&apos;s hard to communicate all those features that make the service superior to the rest of the competition. We need an image that will communicate the service and all the features that accompany it, every time we refer to &quot;that&quot; service. We basically want to give our services a more &quot;materialistic&quot; look and personify them.

We want to start with LASER rejuvenation so this project will only be about that service. The winner, if he/she wants to, can take on the rest of the project, based on his winning entry, after discussing the terms in private.

LASER rejuvenation, in our clinic, can refer to non-ablative LASER rejuvenation (which barely penetrates the skin and activates fibroblasts in order for them to produce new collagen), LASER ablation (which basically melts the skin and reshapes it so that wrinkles disappear) and even non-LASER treatments, such as peelings etc. What we want to show through this image, is our ability to really alter the shape of the epidermis with the use of our knowledge and our superior LASER equipment. We want to focus on the micro-environment, instead of just showing a beautiful face like most of the competition does. We want to promote the scientific / medical aspect of the service and what is actually happening &quot;under&quot; the skin, not the end result that cheapens the service. We want to show that we &quot;know&quot; what we&apos;re doing and we know what&apos;s going on inside you when we perform such a treatment. And we need to show all that through one image. We want to show an abstract or relatively abstract image that shows the outside of the skin from a close distance (could be from a magnifying lens view, or even a microscope view) or the inside (like showing cells that produce collagen, or water cells or something that is connected with skin beauty and moisture and firmness etc). The image has to be dynamic and show that something is happening. That the inside of it is changing it to better support the surface and make it look firmer and healthier. But it has to be very intense to show the greatness of the results we can achieve.

We know we are intentionally a little vague, but this is only so that you let your imagination free and come up with something really unique, creative and effective. We have attached a picture that shows how LASER rejuvenation works (bottom layer is where fibroblasts are, which is the cells that are responsible for the production of elastin and collagen and then is the collagen which gets denser and more with the use of LASER, leading to the improvement of wrinkles and fine lines on the surface).

Customers that are thirsty for beauty :). Our customers appreciate our level of scientific knowledge and superior technical equipment. Showing such an image will hit a nerve and communicate / confirm our medical image and superiority.

If we were a construction company that was to communicate our speed at which we can build skyscrapers in a small area, this is the &quot;sub-brand&quot; image we&apos;d like to have: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/architecture-and-buildings/architecture-abstract/7167857-buildings-abstract.php?id=7167857

We don&apos;t like multicolor illustrations. We really like one-color, minimalistic, smart and ingenious images. Ones that are very powerful and can communicate a central idea with as few as possible lines and colors.

      <title>text over existing photo</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/text_over_existing_photo</link>
      <description>project is for fitness related site.

I need to take one of my photos of a model and overlay with text/arrows pointing to biceps,forearm, waist, hips, etc. Considering making the whole thing an illustration but would like to try with an actual photo first. I have the photo (multiple to choose from). I uploaded a few photos. Just choose one. I also have more.

People wanting to get started to a fitter life.

I kind of like a &quot;gingerbread man&quot; sort of idea with arrows pointing to the parts as above. Not gingerbread man exactly but a rounded sort of illustration. Maybe like a street sign? The stick guy on the &quot;pick up your dog&apos;s poop&quot; sign maybe? The bathroom male/female symbols? Can&apos;t put my finger on it but you get the idea. Rounded, clean, non-cluttered. This time, however, and actual photo (provided).

Need to point to all the things you&apos;d normally measure except calves. If illustration then calves too. Measurements to point to are: bust, chest, waist, hips, bicep, forearm, thigh. Would like to add a &quot;and more&quot; statement to the photo as we also measure back, claves, neck, etc.

      <title>Shiny Web2.0 Tables Required</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/shiny_web2_0_tables_required</link>
      <description>I&apos;d like your help in communicating my packages and services. My company is a consulting company aimed at giving better pricing to NGO/NFP&apos;s and small businesses. My website is http://platformnine.com. The graphics I&apos;m after from you will end up in here.

I&apos;m after some very human, friendly graphics, that are still professional that communicate my offerings and rates. I&apos;m not after dull colouring. The website is already dull. This is where I&apos;m communicating my rates and services, this needs to be different. I like the beveled corner, the shiny boxes etc. Web2.0, you know what it looks like.

The source material is in a Google Spreadsheet. (http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=p64QE1qNYZVEWBeICKkhKdQ)

It contains 2 tabs, with 3 tables in total. My job for you is to convert these 3 tables into shiny graphics.

      <title>**RUSH - 4 day project** Color Illustration of Front View of Casino</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/rush_4_day_project_color_illustration_of_front_view_of_casino</link>
      <description>We need an illustration of the front of a proposed casino. We also posted separately a project looking for a logo for that casino -(http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/logo/logo_for_a_proposed_casino_near_chicago/tips?projectCreate=1)

&lt;b&gt;Let me tell you about us:&lt;/b&gt;

SouthSide Casino is a 1200 patron gambling casino with slot machines and gaming tables. It will be located in a retrofitted 150,000 square foot former Wickes Furniture Warehouse retail store. A street level view of the front of the warehouse space is attached to this project. Unfortunately, we have only the Google Maps Street View at the moment, so hopefully you&apos;ll have enough detail to work with from that photo.

The casino has 36 foot ceilings. It should have a main entrance in the center of the building, with a porte cachere covering the entranceway.

&lt;b&gt;Here is what we need:&lt;/b&gt;

An illustration of the front of the casino.

&lt;b&gt;Our target audience is:&lt;/b&gt;

This rendering will be used for the potential investors and gaming regulators. It should depict just the front of the casino and the signage located in the forefront of the picture. The rendering should be in color with medium detail. It should reflect modern style architecture, minimalist - consistent with the design of the structure.

&lt;b&gt;We like these designs:&lt;/b&gt;

Illinois has previously not had stand-alone casino buildings, so it&apos;s difficult to give references. Here are a couple of examples of casinos from other states (but keep in mind those casinos reflect the architecture of those states):

http://www.floridacasinoreport.com/SeminoleCoconut/front.jpg

and a night view of the same:

http://www.indiancasinos.travel/resources/seminole.jpg

and another:

http://www.scottsdalecvb.com/images/db/static/member_image/ftmcdowell_150.jpg

&lt;b&gt;Our design absolutely must have: &lt;/b&gt;

Colors are left to the designer. A parking lot will be in the forefront of the casino, so minimal landscape design is required.

SouthSide Casino will be located outside of Chicago, Illinois. The logo for SouthSide should appear on the signage, on the building and on the portable sign in the forefront of the parking lot. As we mentioned above, we are concurrently running a project for a logo, so please leave a placeholder for the logo in the illustration.

&lt;b&gt;Things we don’t like or don&apos;t need for this project or other things to avoid using, doing, seeing, etc.:&lt;/b&gt;

The existing building has loading docks, which will be removed so you do not need to allow for them in your rendering.

We look forward to seeing your great illustrations!

      <title>Illustration for SchedJoules.com</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/illustration_for_schedjoules_com</link>
      <description>SchedJoules turns static ‘subject-location-time’ based information about events (eg. Subject: Liverpool - Arsenal, Location: Anfield Road, Date: Saturday November 10th, Time: 8pm-9.45pm) into exciting little marketing machines which can have a life of their own.
 We do that with our Event Distribution Hub (EDH). The EDH is a webbased application to which the event information of our clients is added and interactive event information comes out (for instance .ics-files, IM-bots or text messages).

Customers of our clients can then add these events to calendars (like iCal, Outlook and Google Calendar), Instant Messengers (like Skype, MSN and AIM), mobile phones (receive text messages and vCal’s), social networks (like Facebook, Hyves and Bebo) and email.

An example: NBC is a large TV-network with loads of TV-programs. Our application ensures that visitors can add the complete season of the series House to their Google Calendar for example. Or they can add the ‘House-bot’ to their list of friends in Skype so they will be informed which a chat message every time an episode is on TV. Or they get informed by receiving a text message on their mobile phone.

Benefits For our clients are the benefits of transforming static event information into interactive event information so they can be transported to different channels like mobile phones, calendars and instant messengers for example:

- more tickets sold (because people see the date of the concert in their iCal including a link to ticket sales) - more viewers to TV-programs (because people get notified when their favorite show is on)
- Better informed citizens (because people exactly know when the trash has to be out)
- Less no-shows in restaurants (because people see in their calendar when they made a reservation) - Cross-selling (I see in my calendar for what date I booked a flight, and in the free text field of this calendaritem are ads for a hotel and a car rental service).

The benefits for the customers of our clients are of course that they’re Always and Better informed! :-)

Target audience Our target audience are people working in Marketing and New Media at a company or organization that has events.

This can be all sorts of companies like TV Channels (programs), online event publishers (theatres and concerts), Sports companies (match schedules), Cities (City Marketing), Fortune 500 companies (Report dates etc) etc etc.

Here is what we’re looking for:

Our website is very basic with just a homepage and a contact page and is aimed at businesses wanting to transform their events.
 You can see our website at http://www.schedjoules.com/demo/index.html. It’s not finished yet, but the illustration will go in the grey area in the top of the homepage.
The grey/black square at the top is just to indicate where the illustration will go - feel free to choose any background color you want for the illustration.
We want an illustration that communicates the process of clients giving us their static event information and in return we give them their interactive events which lead to the benefits mentioned.

The illustration is preferably very basic with 3 or 4 images that describe what we do with as little text as possible (preferably none).

Here are some styles we like:

http://www.vivabit.com/atmedia2006/
http://www.apple.com/mobileme/
http://new.imified.com/

Extra points for minimalistic, simplified + clever illustrations :)

      <title>Illustration of the Illinois Technology Ecosystem</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/illustration_of_the_illinois_technology_ecosystem</link>
      <description>The Illinois Technology Foundation works with other Illinois organizations to coordinate public and private programs that seek to fortify what we call the &quot;Illinois Technology Ecosystem&quot;.

The Ecosystem contains all those components in the Illinois Technology arena that are interdependent. Here&apos;s a list of components that we&apos;ve come up with so far:

Primary Components
Human Capital (IT workers/talent, fill jobs in Illinois, consume training)

Illinois Technology Foundation (facilitator -
strengthens connections between companies, students, academia and governmental efforts)

Corporations (consume talent, feed expertise to schools, create jobs)

Secondary Components
Investors

Start-ups

Universities

Primary &amp; Secondary Schools

National Worker Pool

Career Training Centers

Here is what we need: The Foundation is currently working on two major projects: 1. funding an advanced technology high school in Chicago, and 2. building a network of businesses, universities and students who can connect and work together more efficiently.

We need an illustration of the Ecosystem to help explain our view of the Illinois Technology space.

We need this illustration to clearly portray how schools and businesses are interdependent.

Hopefully this illustration will help inspire greater involvement with the Foundation and investment towards its efforts to strengthen the ecosystem.

The illustration will be used at the top of this brochure:
http://www.thewebsitespinner.com/images/itfecosystem.pdf

In the future we may include this illustration in presentations and on a website.

We don&apos;t yet have a logo for the foundation yet. So it would be great if some element of the illustration could later lend itself to an icon or logo representing the Illinois Technology Foundation.

Here are some ecosystem illustrations that make sense to us:
http://www.thewebsitespinner.com/images/eco1.gif
http://www.thewebsitespinner.com/images/eco2.jpg
http://www.thewebsitespinner.com/images/eco3.jpg
http://www.thewebsitespinner.com/images/eco4.jpg

Our target audience is primarily corporate and deep pocket donors. Secondary targets include all shareholders: students, companies, academia, and government.</description>

      <title>Windmill Evolution</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/windmill_evolution</link>
      <description>I am making a T-Shirt type illustration that shows the evolution of windmills from a small child running with a pinwheel to an old Dutch style windmill, to an American Farm windmill to a modern wind turbine ending in a giant question mark to denote what&apos;s next.

It&apos;s a play on the old monkey to man image... http://www.latrobe.edu.au/podiatry/Images/1%20Biomech%20pics/EVOLUTIONpics/evolution.GIF

I want the entire thing to be done as a white line drawing for printing on a black t-shirt. It should be cool enough for an adult to want to wear (admittedly a pretty geeky adult).

Here&apos;s my sorry sketch to help you conceptualize it.

Couple of small points:

- The little girl should be running left to right

- The turbine on the right should have three blades

- Momentum should be left to right

- The important point is to illustrate that something&apos;s coming after the turbine

- If you need space you can lose either the dutch or farm windmill

Looking forward to seeing something fun.</description>

      <title>Simple Composition - Landscape With Houses - I provide most pieces - you put them together</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/simple_composition_landscape_with_houses_i_provide_most_pieces_you_put_them_together</link>
      <description>Hi guys,

I need a header graphic for my new web site:
http://www.bestmortgagedeals.co.uk/

Take a look now so and see the current holding page. That&apos;s the style that the new header graphic will take.

This project requires you to provide vector files in Adobe Illustrator format. If you don&apos;t use Adobe Illustrator then do not enter this contest. I do not want files converted from PSD etc.

I am supplying most of the separate illustration pieces for you already completed in several EPS/AI files which are uploaded in &quot;illustration-homes.zip&quot; (the JPGs with similar names are all previews of the illustrations). This should greatly help you complete the project, and reduce the amount of work required.

Before I give you the full brief let me get one thing clear. I&apos;ve run many spec projects now (here and on other sites like 99designs) and I understand that you get out what you put in.

I promise to rate and review every single entry. You will get solid feedback from me right from the start. That saves us both from wasting our time and it puts you exactly in the right direction when working on entries for me.

Right, on with the design...

My site:
======

Best Mortgage Deals is the name of the site. And that&apos;s what the site will provide. Great deals on a mortgage. The cheapest and best mortgage that you can get. It might be cheap, but it is also high quality.

But let&apos;s be clear: mortgages are boring.

The site design doesn&apos;t have to be boring though - and this is where you come in.

The current design:
==============

First check the holding page here:
http://www.bestmortgagedeals.co.uk/

Then check out the uploaded image file named:
&quot;best-mortgage-deals-current-design-prototype.png&quot;

That file will show you what the current site prototype looks like.

Do you see that green and blue strip along the top of the image &quot;best-mortgage-deals-current-design-prototype.png&quot; that says &quot;Best Mortgage Deals&quot; in it?

That is the current header which needs to be replaced with your design.

What I want:
=========

A header strip in the style of the current holding page, containing:

 - The &quot;Best Mortgage Deals&quot; logo text
 - Green rolling hills
 - Blue sky
 - Homes / houses
 - Trees, bushes, plants, flowers
 - Anything else you think would make it look nice
 - A small flag pole - I will attach the uploaded &quot;british-flag.png&quot; image to this flag pole after I receive the final design, so make sure the flag pole is roughly the right size.

You should use the EPS/AI illustrations provided in the file &quot;illustration-homes.zip&quot; to help you produce the header.

What I do not want:
==============

 - Any clouds (I will add these later)

Technical spec:
===========

Final design must be supplied in AI format (Adobe Illustrator) and use separate layers and objects, so I can tweak things afterwards if required.

The final bitmap output image I will generate from the AI file will be 3000 x 100 (3000 pixels wide, 100 pixels high).

The current basic header file is supplied in upload &quot;current-header.png&quot;. Use this as a basic template. This is the size of the final image, so make sure your final image runs as wide as this.

The design in detail:
==============

I want the whole width of the design to have a blue sky and green hills, very similar to the style of the hills and sky in the holding page and in the supplied illustration files.

I like the drop shadows and shading on the hills in upload file &quot;green-hills.jpg&quot; - so try and replicate that effect, but don&apos;t make the hills quite as steep as that.

Please try and stay close to the colors of the hills and sky in the current holding page. You can use any gradients and shading you like, but try to stay close to those shades of green and blue.

IMPORTANT:
Now, only the middle third (the middle 1000px from the 3000px) needs to have anything really interesting in it. The other two thirds to the left and right just need green hills, flowers, plants, trees etc etc.

The middle third must be interesting. It must use the best pieces of the illustrations, e.g. the houses, the apartment block, the road etc etc. Only the middle 1000px pixels though, as this is all that most users will see on their screens.

The logo text must:
==============

 - Say &quot;Best Mortgage Deals&quot;
 - Use the font in upload &quot;rounded-font-face.zip&quot;
 - Be similar size to the one in the sample header &quot;current-header.png&quot;
 - Use the same kerning as in the sample
 - Start at the same horizontal position as in the sample (e.g. 1000px in from the left)
 - Be roughly in the middle vertically

Delivery:
======

Final file must be in AI.

Contest:
======

When uploading your design during the contest, only upload the MIDDLE 1000px (the most interesting part) for me to look at. I will trust that you&apos;ve done an equally awesome job on the other 2000px.

I will rate and review every design!</description>

      <title>Bow Wow Lounge t-shirt design</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/bow_wow_lounge_t_shirt_design</link>
      <description>About Us: we are a dog daycare center with high end clients who dig ANYTHING with our logo on it.
Project: we are printing on mainly black shirts and need something reversed out hoping no more than 2 color (white &amp; ...) I am looking for an illustration that incorporates any of the 3 logos we have attached. Lately we have been extracting the dog from my marque logos. I have already a few rounds of shirts with just logos and am looking for something a little more design oriented. Miami Ink flourish on one side of dog coming towards it but letting dog be main focus, Poi Dog Pondering album cover for new cd &apos;7&quot; is where i am thinking lately. I am not limited to this idea. Illustration could wrap around garment, partially sliced. i just want something COOL, trendy and draw people in as a must have that appeal.

Must have: Bow Wow Lounge and all or part of logo. I DO NOT WANT a logo redesign. I usually use Futura or Arial but for illustration i am NOT limited to this.</description>

      <title>storyboard graphics</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/storyboard_graphics</link>
      <description>We want 10 small drawings of persons(typically 1, sometimes 2 or 3) that will be used for storyboarding how people use the mobile internet for specific consumer purposes. We want the graphics to help illustrate the use cases.

Mobegic (our company&apos;s working name) is a start-up providing software &amp; services to retailers so that they can support consumers using browsers on their mobile phones, leveraging the company&apos;s existing web assets. We want to storyboard for our prospective customers (retailing executives) how their customers use their phone-based browser for information &amp; services of particular importance to them.

Target audience: Retailing executives, but most specifically those who are responsible for the company&apos;s web site / web store. Age 35-50. Corporate mainstream, but more tech savvy with maybe a little edginess.

Number of images: we need 10 different images for the project price, therefore expecting simple

Mix of people depicted
- 3 age segments: 15-24, 25-34, 35-54
- mostly professionals &amp; urbans, one or two craft people
- more gals than guys (it&apos;s retail)

Settings
- NOT in front of a PC
- City sidewalk, in parked car, on train, in a bookstore &amp; an electronics store, in group office setting (eg, lunchroom?), at work in non-office setting, in social setting with 1 or two friends (see uploaded image &quot;social shopping.png&quot;)

Actions / Uses
- Store locating, product finding, look up a how-to (perhaps on the job), sharing fun discovery w/ friend(s), arranging a product pickup
- Not expecting these actions per se to be illustrated; they are cited here to provide context
- Most actions will be very purposeful &amp; directed; not &quot;browsing&quot;

Size
- Most common use will be approx 1.5&quot;x1.5&quot;, which presumably necessitates simplicity
- Need not be square; no objection to rectangular
- We don&apos;t envision using larger than 5&quot;x5&quot;

We could be using publically-available clip art for our needs. Functionally it&apos;s just right. But, sigh, there&apos;s not much style or excitement to be found there.

Style / Tone / Subliminals
- Mobile gives consumers greater ability to control their world, wherever &amp; whenever; greater power.
- Although we are expecting simple, it would be great to have something with enough style &amp; appeal that it could serve as our company&apos;s look.
- We need to appeal to the target audience that is fairly mainstream business
- Others who sell to the same audience advertise with Internet Retailer magazine, website, etc. A visit to www.internetretailer.com shows the kind of ads / looks that we need to distinguish ourselves from. We desire to somehow insert storyboarding into our ads to let the audience better envision how phones are used to access valuable web resources &amp; services. Illustrated use cases..

      <title>Chldren&apos;s Illutration For Cot</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/chldren_s_illutration_for_cot</link>
      <description>We require an illustration for each end of a children&apos;s cot we are designing. The design should be as bright, happy and colourful as possible.

Please refer to the following photo for an idea: http://img.alibaba.com/photo/203791743/Baby_bed.jpg

The cot design will be similar but we can alter the end shapes if required. We like the idea of the extended cutout top right.

The design needs to be suitable for a baby boy or girl.

We thought perhaps a cartoon style jungle scene (much like the style used on the packaging of Um Bongo drinks: http://images.google.co.uk/images?sourceid=navclient&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;q=um%20bongo&amp;um=1&amp;sa=N&amp;tab=wi ) with a giraffe&apos;s head being the top right extended cut out.
However, we&apos;re open to any other ideas!

The sucessful design should be as high resolution as possible and we require a version for the tops of the opposite side too.

      <description>This illustration is for the header of my company&apos;s new website. The illustration just has to communicate our company description, &quot;Mindot is a company that works harder, to make your software easier, to make your business bigger. Simple.&quot;. I&apos;ve attached a mockup of the new website, the illustration will go in the grey/black square at the top. The grey/black square at the top is just to indicate where the illustration will go - feel free to choose any background color you want for the illustration.

Extra points for minimalist + clever illustrations :)

      <title>Help me recreate some graphics for a screencast project</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/help_me_recreate_some_graphics_for_a_screencast_project</link>
      <description>Hello

I am helping a friend do a screencast of a talk he does. During his talk he makes very distinctive flip charts that highlights what he talks about.

I would like individual vectorised replications of the attached flip charts. They are very simple and the intention is to keep them this way. He uses a lot of colour, child-like writing and simple graphics. I would like all of these elements maintained / recreated.

It is a very simple project and I will select a winner as soon as I notice someone who understands what I am hoping to achieve.

Thank you.  </description>

      <description>I need an illustration of a devil wearing a black fedora style hat. The devil character should portray a cheeky devilish grin without looking too evil. He should however portray a slight edge.

The illustration will be used in the site&apos;s logo and banners so it should easily be resizeable by other web designers

It should look good on a medium to dark background.

If this guy was wearing a black fedora style hat he would be perfect...

      <title>Virtual Fast Food Employee Illustration</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/virtual_fast_food_employee_illustration</link>
      <description>I need a character for my virtual fast food employee. His name is Jim and he works at BK.

I need a design of a BK fast food employee working on a computer or laptop. The whole concept is that he is servicing customers through the internet. He must have a uniform on.

Uniform Requirements:
Shirt: Dark brown with black stripes or Red or
Cobalt Blue.

Name tag: He must have a name tag on. His name should be on the name tag (if possible)

Hat: Visor with letters BK on it

Pants: Black (does not have to be visible)

Shoes: Black. (does not have to be visible)

The character should have a fun and serious appeal.

I don&apos;t want a large background, like an office for example. The character and a computer is good enough. If you want to add a small desk or something else that you may have in mind that is okay.

I want customers to look at the illustration and grasp the concept right away.

Please do NOT submit your work if you are not willing to release the copyright to me in my name. I need to protect this work and be able to limit its use for strictly the use that I intend or determine.</description>

      <description>We need a magazine ad for our software product. The ad needs to be 7.5 inches wide by 4.85 inches tall.

The design premise is simple: We need to have two different men in contrasting
poses. One will be bogged down with stacks of papers and fax machine and the other will have his handy laptop opened showing the screen. Both men will need to have hard hats on like they are working on a construction site. We have minimalist tendencies. We don&apos;t need a lot of fancy effects, just solid attention to good design fundamentals (balance, alignment, etc.)

Across the top should read  &quot;Ready for a new Work Management System?&quot;

There should be a list of features listed in the ad:
Process Work Tickets
Doc Attachments
Electronic Integration
Online Tracking
Remote Tracking
Automatic Invoice
Rapid Response
$25.99 per person

The ad needs to include our logo (see attached file) and our contact information:

      <description>My company is developing a line of soccer awards for 9 to 14 year old kids. We have close to 100 designs on the table and I&apos;m very interested to see if we can find some illustrators here to help us.

The first design concept is for &quot;The Workhorse&quot; award. Coaches will award this prize to young players who demonstrate extra effort, reliability, steady play, etc. in a given soccer match.

I&apos;m envisioning something like a mighty looking stallion head and &quot;The Workhorse&quot; text though don&apos;t let this stifle any creativity on your end.

Comic book style, anime, cartoon illustration, I don&apos;t know and am open to looking at all.

Design requirements:
* The finished piece will be printed 3&quot;x2&quot; (height x width) so please keep this size in mind when designing.
* &quot;The Workhorse&quot; must appear in text within the illustration. </description>

      <title>Maintenance Flyer</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/maintenance_flyer</link>
      <description>We are a heating and cooling business primarily marketing to homeowners - but also market to small businesses. I like bright creatives. Our company colors are: Reflex Blue and 199 Red. We need a creative to make homeowners aware that regular maintenance on their heating and cooling system is extremely important and will save them money in the long run. The wording should clearly inform the buyer of the benefits they receive from a regular HVAC maintenance. (For instance, we want to personalize the wording with using the words &quot;you&quot; and &quot;your&quot;)

Needs to briefly explain the importance of a maintenance. (Similar to maintenancing a car). (See downloaded artwork.)

We need four pieces: postcard and flyer; each has one for Autumn and one for Spring (one picture will have an air conditioner and the other will have a furnace.)

Benefits include:
Reduces risk of emergency calls, protects your manufacturer&apos;s warranty, increases the life expectancy of your heating and cooling system, your system saves you money by operating efficiently, protects your family by operating safely, lowers your utility costs, you receive Peace of Mind knowing your system will operate correctly when you&apos;re ready to use it, you receive confidence knowing that our technicians are all NATE certified.

Increase your savings! We offer customers additional savings for pre-paying the next season&apos;s maintenance. Your additional savings include: 24-hour (or less) response time for your service needs, you receive Preferred rates on all service calls (10% savings), your maintenace rates are locked-in for one year.

      <title>10&apos; comic strips: Avego tradeshow</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/10_comic_strips_avego_tradeshow</link>
      <description>Large format comic strip tradeshow displays for Avego.com (“carpooling 3.0”)

Avego provides a capability for individual car owners to become part of the public transport network. Basically, it&apos;s like carpooling 3.0, it&apos;s a bit mind-boggling and highly ambitious. But, while we hope to be a consumer brand, our products will also be used by professional transport providers like bus companies, vanpools, taxicabs. See what we are looking to do at http://www.avego.com

CREATIVE BRIEF:

*** Full 6-page creative brief can be found at: http://www.cities21.org/AvegoComicStrip.pdf ***

Produce 2 large graphics for tradeshow displays. Each graphic is 120” x 87 3/4”. Between 100 and 150 dpi. “Comic strip” style is recommended (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comic_strip ). Comic strip style will look either hand-drawn or be line art created in a vector+spline tool such as Illustrator. Color is fine, but the look should be “drawn,” not images taken with a camera.

We prefer 1930’s style retro-style comics. We also like “Buck Rogers” futuristic styles. It’s a bit more eye-catching to use a style that isn’t a completely realistic depiction of life in 2008. In the retro comic style, facial expressions are exaggerated. There is some “over-acting.” It is fine to show a 1930’s person with a 1930’s suit using an iPhone. Here’s one example of a retro style: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/29/47761783_bcf00c498c.jpg?v=1199893284

We’re hoping for comic strips that are silly, not serious. “Corny” is a good descriptor.

Avego people are college-educated, friendly, good looking, hard-working, professional-dressing workers who often toil in an office. Avego people like other Avego people. Avego people have a good time using Avego. Our “shared transport” market is 18-30 years old, mostly tech-friendly. Our professional products market is the 45+ transport sector buyer. Avego is an international product, but our audience for these displays is US.

Specification
* Award due Wednesday 24 Sept, with final art due Thursday 25 Sept. We are on a very tight print deadline. Sorry for the tight timeframe.
* This project requires many graphics. 6 panels per board, with 2 boards. Crowdspring recommends creating 800x600 resolution images. Please start with two comic strip panels:
   * Board 1, Panel B
   * Board 2, Panel A
   * Please post these as two separate 800x600 project entries with “matching titles” such as “xyz_Board1PanelB” and “xyz_Board2PanelB.”
   * We’ll give top designs a score of 4 and then we will private message to these designers. From there, designers will send us private messages with higher res files, working on all the panels in the comic strips. [We just worked out this unusual procedure with crowdspring, so this is OK. The challenge is to exchange high resolution files.]

BOARD 1: ******************

Anne Avego is an Avego person. Tom Transit is a transport sector decision-maker.

A “speech balloon” in a comic strip is defined as text within a shape with a graphical connection to the character making the comment. For example, the text: “m-maybe he became ill and couldn’t leave the studio” in this comic strip panel: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/29/47761783_bcf00c498c.jpg?v=1199893284 is a speech balloon.

PANEL B: Bus coaches

Panel heading/text: “After Avego: coaches”

Drawing should show:
* Tom and Anne walking jauntily in front of coaches
* One or more bus coaches

Speech bullet: Anne Avego: “With Avego, you can inexpensively track each coach, send SMS updates to coach riders, provide riders with an Avego-hosted journey planner plug-in for your web site, and proudly display real-time departure boards.”

Speech bullet: Tom Transit: “Wow, that is high-tech!”

Some examples of bus coaches:
http://www.freefoto.com/preview/2030-01-5?ffid=2030-01-5 -
http://www.starjasome.com/coach_bus_2a.jpg

Tip: Do not include logos for these vehicles. Do not include “Coach-USA.” Our customers can be from any number of competing companies, so including the name of one coach company would not be appropriate. Greyhound is the most famous coach operator. Retro buses are fine.

BOARD 2: **********************

Ron Rider and Dora Driver are Avego people.

PANEL A – the extremely terrible problem

Panel heading/text: “What a waste!”

Drawing should show:
* Dora in the front of the panel, in great anguish, crying. She’s worried about climate, gas prices.
* In the background, the “river of empty seats” caused by single occupancy vehicles going down the road. Something like: http://www.avego.com/ui/images/learn_2.png.

Speech Bubble: Dora Driver: “Gas is too expensive, traffic is worse, we need to reduce carbon from driving. My commute stinks. What if there was a way to fill up all the empty, wasted seats going by on the road?”

      <title>Character Development for Modified Stick-figure in various outdoor activities</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/character_development_for_modified_stick_figure_in_various_outdoor_activities</link>
      <description>I need an artist or illustrator to develop a character that will appear in numerous outdoor activities. The design needs to be simple, and will be used on t-shirts, frisbees, and other merchandise. At this point, I would like submissions for a male character, but I may want to develop a female counterpart at a later time.

I am after something very similar to the &quot;Life is Good&quot; line of products, with the character Jake and his dog. I am thinking of something that is stick-figure based, but has more details than a true stick figure. Again, the Life is Good series is the best explanation for what I am visualizing.

For this initial project, please submit your character doing one of the following outdoor activities: camping, Jeeping, skiing, mountain biking, or hiking. Again, keep the image simple...not too much detail. My suggestion...visit the Life is Good website or go to a store and look at the many different images on the shirts, cups, etc. I am not looking to copy their exact product, but it best explains what I am picturing.

I am planning to develop a whole series of images that would include at least a dozen settings for the character that we develop together. If you want to submit your character in more than one outdoor setting, that would give me a better idea of what you can do.

I am not looking for submissions that are overly detailed or look realistic/life-like. The character needs for me a fun, active, and healthy cartoon character.

Please do NOT submit your work if you are not willing to release the copyright to me in my name. I need to protect this work and be able to limit its use for strictly the use that I intend or determine.</description>

      <title>1,2,3,..4 fases in our diet, and this illustration has to show 4 which fase the product is suited</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/1_2_3_4_fases_in_our_diet_and_this_illustration_has_to_show_4_which_fase_the_product_is_suited</link>
      <description>Let me tell you about us.
the site were our prodcuts are sold:
www.regimeproteine.com

Our diet products vary in amount of proteins en Kcal&apos;s.
The diet that we propose has 4 stages, fases,
Some of our diet products can be used in fase 1 and up, others only starting from fase 2, and others only starting from fase 3 and up.

Here is what we need:
what we need is an illustrations (in fact 3 illustrations, that quickly shows for wich fase the product can be used, fase 1 (and up) , fase 2 (and up) and fase 3 and up . There are no products only for fase 4, so 3 and up is ok.

There can be some space open , so that we can write this text on the illustration (for some products)
tekst 1 : 1 par jour
or tekst 2: pas de repas complet
We will write these texts, we just need the space on the illustration.

Our target audience is:
well educated, higher incomes, trendy

We like these designs:
as you can see the site has bright colors, orange and green.
I like the design of the logos i have uploaded. Shiny, glass like logos. but ideas are welcome.

The illustration can be around 100x50 or 50x100 pixels , or 50x50 60x60 somthing like that.

      <title>Illustration of an adorable Monster needed</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/illustration_of_an_adorable_monster_needed</link>
      <description>We are a boutique online t-shirt retailer marketing to high school and college consumers. Our site is not yet functional, as we are in the process of launching.

I need an original drawing of your interpretation of a Cuddle Monster for a t-shirt. I have attached the prototype for inspiration.

There is one big parameter for your work, however: Our printing process does not have white ink. Therefore, ANY white space in your design will take the color of the shirt upon which it is printed, in this case, LIGHT PINK and LIGHT BLUE (women&apos;s and men&apos;s shirts.) Therefore, your goal as an illustrator is to minimize the amount of near-white colors in the design. The prototype illustrates this: notice that the eyes and teeth take the color of the background. You may want to experiment with large pupils, for example to take up white space in the eye.

Anyway, the goal is to make an adorable, comical, Cuddle Monster that will make hearts melt instantly. Take any avenue you like. I like the fact that the prototype guy looks like he wants to give you a hug but is a little apprehensive about asking, but feel free to run with any interpretation that you like!

Unlike the prototype, I would like the monster to have depth, as it will eventually look like he/she is standing in the midst of the text.

Also, if you feel that you can provide a superior text arrangement/font/whatever, be my guest! Just use the same phrase.

Please feel free to email with any questions whatsoever.

      <title>Coffee Bag Label Design</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/coffee_bag_label_design</link>
      <description>Our Company:
Jaho Coffee is a small artisan coffee roaster. We strive to offer the best possible coffees we can find to our customers. Most of our coffees are fair trade and organic, and we take great pride in our relationship to coffee farmers. Our philosophy and atmosphere in our stores is centered around a slowlife approach (our slogan is &quot;Live Slow.&quot;)

What We Need:
We are releasing a line of our freshly roasted coffees in 1lb and 12oz bags, for which we need 3&quot;Wx4&quot;H labels. The bags themselves will be a kraft color. We&apos;re looking for a unique design that has an old world feel, simple, not too busy and not too many bright colors. The labels should showcase our company and coffee in an upscale way.

Our Design Must Have:
Our logo, an EPS file is included, should be featured prominently but without the &quot;Jaho Coffee &amp; Tea&quot; type (this can be selected and deleted from the EPS file.) For the sample design please use the following coffee info, but please do not include &quot;Type&quot; or &quot;Description&quot;
Type:   Ethiopian Yirgacheffe
Description: full bodied, aromatic, mildly winey with a sweet finish.
Our website www.jaho.com should also be included in smaller type as well as our address 60 Wharf Street, Salem, MA 01970. Both the website and address can be in very small type on the bottom of the label.
A symbol/illustration with some significance to Ethiopia would be a nice addition.
   Also, please realize that both the coffee type and description should be easy for us to change to a different type in the future.
Also included should be the Fair Trade logo and USDA Organic Logo (http://blog.usa.gov/roller/govgab/resource/images/USDAOrganicLogo.jpg)
    Under the coffee type name, consider writing &quot;artisancoffee&quot; in smaller type. Also, our company name does not have to be on the label, the logo should be sufficient but if you decide to include it, it should be just &quot;Jaho Coffee&quot; without the &quot;&amp;Tea&quot; part.

Avoid Using:
Coffee beans, coffee cups and any other typical coffee images.</description>

      <title>Global Clean Energy: Illustrating our Carbon Offset/Credit Energy Farm project</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/global_clean_energy_illustrating_our_carbon_offset_credit_energy_farm_project</link>
      <description>About us:

Hello! We are Global Clean Energy Holdings, Inc. (www.gceholdings.com), a Los Angleles based bio-fuel feedstock production company. While our website will need some work soon, right now I am trying out CrowdSpring regarding our need for a graphic illustration of our Carbon Offset/Credit.

Our primary business is planting-growing Jatropha trees in Latin America. These trees produce an inedible fruit which contains a seed very high in oil content. This oil is then refined into bio-fuel (for both diesel and jet engines). A byproduct of our bio-fuel business is the Carbon Offset / Credit we receive for planting the millions of trees and &quot;growing&quot; the fuel.

Why do we get a Carbon Offset/Credit? When the renewable fuel from our crude jatropha oil (CJO) is used, it can be assumed that it is being used INSTEAD OF fuel derived from fossil fuel oil. Thus this renewable fuel (which emits CO2 when burned but then uses CO2 to grow) is offsetting the Fossil Fuel (which liberates new CO2 into the atmosphere.)

We sell our certified Carbon Offsets/Credits to US based individuals and companies that wish to voluntarily offset their carbon footprints. The dollars go directly to planting enough trees to offset the said carbon footprint.

What we need:

At this point, I am looking for a graphic that visually captures the process above:

A CO2 Neutral cycle of using Renewable Fuel from the Jatropha Trees on one side (the trees cycling in CO2 from the atmosphere, creating the fruit, then the oil, then the fuel, which is burned by autos/trucks/planes, which emit the CO2 back into the atmosphere, which is then recycled back into the tree...)....

and then on the other side..

the newly Liberated CO2 from the Fossil Fuel (coming from below the ground fossil fuel oil, oil turned into fuel, then burned by autos/trucks/planes, liberating new CO2 into the atmosphere, which is not recycled).

Showing the 2 cycles side-by-side hopefully will help visually explain the CO2 offset.

Of course, there also is the CO2 benefit of planting-growing the trees because they capture and hold CO2 as they grow (part of photosynthesis.) For this illustration however, I want to focus on the Credit/Offset created by the usage of the renewable fuel instead of fossil fuel.

Our Audience:

Our audience will be anyone to which we are trying to explain the overall process... From Marketing and Selling our Carbon Offsets/Credits to individuals and businesses... to presentations we give at conferences.. and of course, I would probably post on our website.</description>

      <title>Characatures</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/characatures</link>
      <description>I would like two &quot;Shag&quot; style characatures (do a Google search on &quot;Shag&quot;).

The characters will be based on my wife and I. For my wife a good example of want I want is the woman at: http://www.shag.com/Immoderates/Elephant.html

My wife has blond hair and should be holding a tiki mug. I like the sunglasses in the example. The view should be of her head to toe facing forward or at a slight angle (as opposed to cut off at the knees in the example).

For me, a good example of what I want is at:
http://www.shag.com/CaliforniaSun/Pismo.html(the big man). I have blond hair that is a little longer than the example, I am big like the example, but not as thin in the waist and my face is more round than square. I should be wearing short pants, an Aloha shirt (also known as a Hawaiian shirt) with a tiki motif and I should be holding a tiki mug. My legs should be a little thicker. The view should be of me head to toe facing forward or at a slight angle.

A good example of a tiki mug is at http://www.shag.com/ConspicuousConsumption/SmallERJpegs/008_IdolMaku.jpg however you can also do a search of Shag tiki mugs for examples.

The two characatures should work well together but should also work if separated. Colors should be in the Shag style.

Doing them as if they are posing for a photograph is great with a Shag tiki style background would be great, but I do also need the individual characatures with no background as well.

Feel free to ask questions.</description>

      <title>Graphics for a PowerPoint/Website</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/graphics_for_a_powerpoint_website</link>
      <description>I need an excellent graphical designer to create some (3) slick 3D images for a project I am doing.

Its called CREATE, CONSUME, EXCHANGE and each of these elements will be personified by a little 3D character (&quot;personna&quot;).

I&apos;ve included a basic stick-man sketch of what I&apos;d like to have created.

The deliverables are 3 high-resolution images with a slick 3D-effect which follow the basic outline included, yet also demonstrate some level of creativity within these guidelines.

Each of the three &quot;personas&quot; are holding one object:

- &quot;Create&quot; is creating content (cinema, television, videos) and in the given sketch is holding a camera.
- &quot;Consume&quot; represents the average consumer and is watching a TV programme.
- &quot;Exchange&quot; is attempting to interject the attention of &quot;Consume&quot; by offering a different kind of value exchange, one of physical goods in exchange for other physical goods that &quot;Consume&quot; owns, or their money...

The images should be highly scalable (i.e. could fit in a small grid on a powerpoint, or, could be centered one a larger web page).

For this project, simply deliver the images on the current black powerpoint theme, or, design another nicer looking dark-scale colored Powerpoint background. Both are acceptable for submissions...</description>

      <title>Making Energy and The Environment Visible </title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/making_energy_and_the_environment_visible</link>
      <description>EcoAlign, our strategic marketing agency focused on energy and the environment (www.ecoalign.com), is seeking images or illustrations to make the environment or energy conservation more visible to the public. The project is an experimental one, but the images could be used by our agency and/ or our clients.

The concepts are “loose,” meaning that we are providing direction and a list to choose from on what the images should depict but highly encourage you to use your own creativity and vision for what these concepts may actually look like from your artistic perspective.

The style that you choose is up to you and could be anything ranging from mixed media, photography, graphic design, illustration, etc. The images could be figurative, abstract, or some combination. The only qualification is the following: more “emotional” images are preferable as opposed to commercial images oftentimes seen in advertising.

I would like you to choose from a list of concepts that would be visually represented. These concepts represent what may be useful to us in the short term. The list of concepts includes:

	Light/ Efficient Lighting
	Energy efficiency
	A juxtaposition of old technology/ approaches vs new ones
	Time of use pricing (using energy at different times of the day when it is cheaper)
	Carbon management/ carbon credits (carbon is the main pollutant causing global warming, a per ton of emissions that will have a price)
	Green buildings
	Conservation
	Global warming
	Natural resources
	“Going Green”/ Being environmental

The above list is directional. If you have other ideas on concepts connected to energy and the environment, feel free to submit them.

The audience for this work are consumers, companies and other organizations interested in promoting renewable energy/ clean technologies, energy conservation and sustainability.

EcoAlign would own the images and use them for EcoAlign or EcoAlign’s clients. The artist may use the images for self-promotion, including but not limited to portfolio, web site, postcards, or any other self-promotion use. The artist agrees not to use or sell the images for any other purpose than self-promotion.

EcoAlign sees this as an experiment, and we are not really sure what you will come up. But we want you to have fun, be creative and pursue your own vision of what these concepts may look like. </description>

      <title>LAW FIRM BILLBOARD</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/law_firm_billboard</link>
      <description>I need a billboard designed for my law firm. It will be 16&apos;w * 4&apos;h, and can be full color with photographs, etc. The focus of my practice is criminal defense, civil rights, and class actions. The billboard is located directly across from the courthouse, so I would like for it to spark conversation (not controversy) when people are in line waiting to enter the courthouse. Also, I&apos;d like to let people know that they can come in to our office right before court if they need a lawyer, as the billboard is on our office building. Our entrance door is directly below and to the left of the billboard...so maybe an arrow pointing them to our door?
The address is 111 S. Indiana Ave., Suite 207, Kankakee, IL.  The phone number that needs to be prominently displayed on the sign is (815) 929-3844.  The name of the firm is &quot;The Law Firm Of Rowe &amp; Associates.&quot;
I would like for the billboard to give our firm name, practice areas, phone number &amp; address, website (www.rowelegal.net), and let the client know they can come in right before court. Other language, such as &quot;reasonable fees&quot; &quot;work on bond&quot; &quot;free case consultation&quot; is optional but preferred if it can be fit in a way that looks good.
Ideally, it will portray an image that lets potential clients know they can fight back, i.e., speak up against the powers that be. A photo or graphic should spark conversation among those in line...something that portrays an image of our firm standing up for the little guy, etc.
I know this is a lot to include, but I&apos;m hoping someone can make it work without it looking too busy or cramped. It MUST be eye-catching, conversation-inspiring, and memorable.
The final format will need to be in .pdf for the printer.
Good luck to all.

      <title>Miniature Pinscher Line Drawing</title><link>http://www.crowdspring.com/projects/graphic_design/illustration/miniature_pinscher_line_drawing</link>
      <description>I&apos;m looking for a cartoon type line drawing (black and white) of a miniature pinscher puppy. The illustration is being used in a book and I need 5 total pictures.

The themes are: Put People First -- I&apos;d like to see the puppy happily jumping and spinning as she greets a visitor at the door. Be the Boss -- I&apos;d like to see the puppy in a suit/tie or in some setting looking like a boss. Training -- I&apos;d like a picture of this Min-Pin in school. Positive Reinforcement -- I&apos;d like a drawing of a Min-Pin getting a treat or being rewarded in some way. Let Them Have Fun -- I&apos;d like a drawing of a Min-Pin running with a larger dog and stealing a toy.

This puppy is very spirited and the illustration needs to exhibit her happiness throughout the drawings. One point... although most min-pin&apos;s ears stand up. This illustration needs to have floppy ears. The tips should fold/fall over.

If the drawings work well, I may need additional sketches.

      <description>Need a cross-section of a two-story house with attic, basement, and deck - to use on our website and brochure. We do heating and cooling and want the house to display our services. We will show each service with a &quot;star&quot;. My favorite example is attached.
(Or, Link: http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=products.es_at_home.)
In addition to the normal furniture/appliances in a house, our artwork will need (1)the outdoor unit at the back of the house, (2)a deck with a gas grill, (3)and a ventless fireplace in the living-room.
(Once artwork is chosen, I can specify exact placement of stars.) (approx. 25) I like bright colors and frequently use colors: Reflex blue and 199 red. (Do not want the house retro.)</description>
