I liked the sumi ink words on your blog... did you do them? I though it might be nice to have the 'talk to me' line done in this style... or perhaps a nice photo by yourself would give the overall site a bit of a different page style and provide a little personality? The whole image would be the link.
One could add some more typographic flourishes throughout the site, however I thought that as an initial concept the clean lines and strict continuity of the page layouts felt better... can always move things along at later date!
Please do feedback if there's any tweaks you'd like to see… The main one, I suppose would be the header font… bit last minute really!! Oh well, better late than never ;-)
I hope you like these designs, but wish you luck for a successful relaunch with whichever solution fits!
