Hammer,
This is my favorite! I love what you have done and I love that you explained why you did it in the comments. Thank you for that (although I have to be truthful and say I don't understand most of it:-)
Do you think we need the photos of the people? Can the image change without them in the pix? Can I provide my own photos for you to use?
In the what customers say area - will that rotate? or just lead to another comment if people click on the Next button?
Can you change "Destinations" to read: "Our Specialist Destinations"
Under the cruise pix, change the word "has" to "have"
Thanks for your wonderful work. Trudy

Disclosure: This design includes photos, illustrations or fonts created by others but I have the right to both use and resell. (?)

This is my first entry, incorporating the requirements on your brief. The main points to note are.

1. Clean, easy to use, organized and uncluttered layout. Color scheme based on your current logo/website but just using a minimal set to avoid a distracting effect. The design contains web 2.0 elements such as rounded boxes, gradients and web safe fonts. Maximize use of images and reduced text to a minimum.

2. Header area is above the fold. Includes logo/slogan, phone number, navigation and main image. Instead of having multiple photos here, I suggest using an animation similar to this one: http://livepaths.com where the background image behind the couple (in this case Venice, from your slideshows) will transition into other destinations to emulate the effect of traveling to different places.

3. The main section contains panels for common destinations and a place for specials (I used 3 examples here). These could also rotate to display more offers.

4. Below this section, a welcoming message with ‘Contact Us’ button and testimonials section with ‘more’ button.

5. The footer includes secondary navigation and copyright.

6. The design is optimized for 1024 px and bigger screen sizes, but due to Crowdspring upload policies, an 800 px version is presented Images, background color, text and images are only placeholders use to illustrate the design. They can be changed for the final version with anything that fits your vision.

I’ll wait for your feedback. Let me know if I’m going on the right direction or if you would like to see other designs.
