- the text for the site title and slogan is nicely sized and positioned
- location of the sponsor logo works well
- the photo adds a bit of color / excitement without using up too much space
- the way the 'register', 'newsletter' and 'login' icons overlap the title bar looks great
- the font(s) you've chosen are sharp and clear. I like the way you've used different point sizes to build contrast between the blocks (but I think the body text in 'Top Story' and 'Expert' may be too small)
- your icons are excellent (but may be too off-the-shelf / generic in their look-and-feel)
And here's the stuff I'm not sure about:
- your design follows the prototype site which is good but I think it may be a bit too similar to it
- the breadcrumb trail looks more like a horizontal navbar
- the 'Industry' and 'Regulatory Area' blocks are navigational in nature and need to be distinguished from the content blocks beneath them. I see you've boxed them but I think the contrast needs to be even greater.
- I feel there's almost too much whitespace on the site. Uncrowded is great but the site almost feels empty.
