Hi, I realize I'm a bit late to the party but I hope you'll consider my solution for your site's design.
I really wanted to play off the angles in your logo. The diagonal lines in the background help provide a sense of movement and draw the user down into the page. You have a very strong color palette in your blue and red so I wanted those colors to be prominent in the design.
The horizontal lines are meant to extend the entire width of the browser window.
Please provide feedback; I'm happy to tweak the design as necessary. Thanks!
