One of the main components of web 2.0 design is FUN.
And I've tried to incorporate that into the design by using the concept of STICKERS.
Circles in the the design as well as outlining your figure with a white outline creates a sticker like appearance that denotes, creativity, value, and interaction.
The rest of the design employs lighting and texture, to create a solid looking unit that is sleek and professional.
I hopw the contrast of the two is what you are looking for in a web 2.0 design.
