Disclosure: I created everything in my entry and I didn't copy anyone else's concept. (?)
Hello,
I am pleased to present my first entry.
It highlights John Gartner's latest book "In Search of Bill Clinton" front and center. I've included three buttons (labeled with numbers "1" through "3") as an example of how this main banner could transition between multiple promotions and/or key messages.
I have used a simple but bold colour palette similar to the palette used on the cover of "In Search of Bill Clinton" with the addition of a yellow accent.
Information on the front page is minimal as per your comment about this not being a content-heavy website. Note, however, that the banner on the top could be used to add much more information if necessary. Additional content blocks below the banner could also be added (examples: perhaps John Gartner would want to have a section on the front page highlighting his latest blog entries, etc.)
Revisions to this comp will gladly be made at your request. I look forward to your feedback!
