PS, maybe having a separate project for a logo or header would be a very good idea. There area a lot of brilliant logo designers on crowd spring, and its definitely something to look into.

Visualizing this really helps me to understand what you were talking about before and I think moves the whole design forward.
I think this design is nearing as good as it is getting with the exception of the header. Everything below that I would consider to be finished and very well done! But the header does feel blank.
I don't know, maybe we needed to do a separate contest for a logo or banner but we're still learning here...
