Creative brief

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

This is for my career blog, one that I use from job to job. I'm a web professional, and I help large brands with their decisions for their websites. I often speak to director, VP, and CMO at large companies, as well as to executives at startups. My audience is often interactive marketers, agencies, and marketing professionals. I need to look professional, and I often speak to clients and present.

I will credit the winning designer and link to the URL of their choice from my blog.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

A professional looking banner that will be interesting to marketing and web professionals.

This will just be an image with the following dimensions 960 pixel width by and perhaps a 200 pixel height graphic. The height is flexible depending on design

It must use my existing logo (see PSD), and leave room for the navigation items on the banner which will be HTML --not part of the graphic.

This banner should be professional, clean, provide enough focus on the logo, and should be able to stand the test of time for at least 3 years without looking outdated.

The banner will be given to my designer, who will insert it into the HTML, I need the GIF and PSD from the winner.

I reserve all rights to use the PSD and all the associated work from the winner, including tweaking the design as I see fit for all time.

I'm going to stop accepting requests now, I'm going to narrow it down to just a few artists that have done something interesting. I want to do this in consideration of all the great work everyone's contributed, I certainly don't want to make anyone do any additional un-needed work.

In the next day(s) I will let you know if you're in the final running.
