After reading the brief, and looking at the entries so far, as nice as many of them are, I didn't see one that seemed to me to be delivering what the client has asked for. While looking at the mountain photos that were provided, it occurred to me, why not modify one of the photos for the icon, rather than create a vector icon? So, a simplified, graphic version of the photo has been created as an icon. The colors, inspired by the client, are simple and classic: Tan-ish Gold, Black, Deep Grey and White.
