Thanks for the detailed and thought-out feedback. It got me thinking about everything you said and here's what my observations and rework is. Unfortunately, since the project was closing within a few hours of my reading it, this was as far as I was able to get from there, but I hope its is all in the right direction.
I have tried to retain everything that you thought were (+) about the logo, and thus have retained it as just a typographic mark, and without introducing an additional symbol.
- "too cold" logo - Have changed the colours to make the blue brighter and livelier, and also introduced a bi-tone colour scheme to make it pop!
- "tw" issue - Have modified the typography slightly to make the "tw" clearer and less mechanical. One aspect that has ben maintained is the connection between the letters, to retain the spirit of teamwork. While we have lost out on the closed fist symbology, that wasn't a very literal message, and therefore, connected lettering is enough to convey the message.
- "clearer messaging". The new colour scheme places a little more emphasis on the "ago" part, which is where the main message of the logo lies.
Hope we are better placed now in terms of your requirements. Would love to tweak things further if required, but unfortunately this is the last iteration I can upload before the close of the project!
