Hmm. I don't think I can convey what I want without sketching it.
I was looking for the negative space "c" to be more natural looking. But I can't figure out how to explain it. I think it'd be okay for the arrow and backside of the C to be a little off in order to get the central C to look right. Perhaps you can start with the rounded C as in this font (http://www.urbanfonts.com/fonts/Adira_Display.htm) and use the space around it to make the logo elements. Also, no need to have the outline circle since the shape itself will be round-ish.
Hope this makes sense. I feel like I can't get the idea across well enough. The font selection doesn't feel approachable enough...
