Disclosure: I created everything in my entry and I didn't copy anyone else's concept. (?)
I read your creative brief and then used the concept of "pay it forward", hence the arrow at the end. I used the blue color pallette because it is the safe, calming, trustworthy color - which is important with insurance.
I used Century Gothic for its clean lines, rounded letters (rather than oblong) and general feel of strength.
Sorry this is so late in the running, I just came across your project.
