Disclosure: I created everything in my entry and I didn't copy anyone else's concept. (?)
I thought a lot about the feeling you get when you give to people.
For me, Christmas is always a great example because I love to give people gifts. It starts out as a small feeling, but as you give and know that your gift is appreciated, the feeling grows. Soon you find yourself spending more than you normally would, just to see someone smile. It's always a good feeling, and it's one that sticks with me forever.
This logo is my interpretation of that feeling. The "cause" starts at the roots (the red), but soon it will grow into something which is "worth" it (the blue). When you give to someone, they will know how it feels to receive. Soon they too will give, and the cycle will continue.
A tree is a good example of the cycle. It starts so small at first, but if you let it grow, it will be enormous.
