I like the story, but it may not be accessible enough. People don't intuit clouds with sharing. Also, the stylistic approach seems to look more like water droplets than clouds.
One other thought is that the proportional line weights are a little off, especially along the bottom zig zag.
Given the amount of text required to tell the story this cloud concept won't work - but I truly appreciate the effort you went to to tell it and love the fresh thinking.
Font choice for the name is okay. For the second line it feels off. Like the weight isn't right. Perhaps it's the thin letters with the large spaces?
Disclosure: I created everything in my entry and I didn't copy anyone else's concept. (?)
Hello!
This logo is symbolic of a group of clouds of different sizes which incorporates a feeling of sharing and close relationships - which is what clouds do, they share and are close to each other. You see, similar to how the more fortunate people donate to the less fortunate; clouds more or less do the same thing. They band together to form a large cloud -symbolic of a moderate or large fund and global cooperation- and when they are big enough a rejuvenating rainfall will fall upon the scorched earth. Especially because farmers are common in poorer countries, this rainfall represents the feeling of empowerment and wonder in the eyes of the farmers -the less fortunate ones. The abundance of water in this case is the positive result of giving. That's the concept behind this logo.
Analysing the brand itself, I believe it's not an "out there" but instead unique identity. It is distinct from the usual insurance logos and emanates a strong but approachable identity that customers may be more comfortable and less cautious with. The brand also adds a concept of giving to the company.
It's a simple logo mainly based on only one shape which is repeated a few times in the logo to form a group of clouds. If it needs to be simplified further, only a single cloud may also be used on itself. Only one color is used to avoid overcomplicating the logo and because great logos must also look good in a single color. Font used isn't (the dreaded) Comic Sans but a modern and content Calibri. If you feel that you aren't comfortable with the current font do let me know.
Your suggestions and feedback are crucial in the design and brainstorming process and are most welcome.
