I do like it, but feel it is more like a campaign logo than a permanent one.
That may be the problem with ribbons - they're typically associated with short-term things like fund-raisers. Unless the logo is truly integrated it may be seen as a fleeting effort.

The idea here is the empowerment of great causes supported by the "worth" generated by the business. The ribbon violates the "w" slightly showing its preferential position in the business model...Cause before profit.
