Thank you for this. I have two small tweaks to suggest and then I will show this to the client.
1) On the left column, try switching the C back to original weight and reducing the W to the weight the C is in this column.
2) For ALL columns change the mountains to black and the Peaks to 50% grey so the client isn't swayed by the coloring.
Your instinct was correct on the initial two color design. It's truly amazing to me how ineffective the logo is in a single color. Completely abandons the metaphor. Wouldn't have known that if I hadn't seen it, though. Very good to know that in advance.

Great feedback, very much appreciated. Here's some samples with different font applications as well as some of the tweaks you mentioned. I still like the last version I sent. I think the C is seen first, highlighting it, and then the W is found, hidden. Switching the emphasis on the word from worth to cause makes sense, too, good call. Keep it coming, thanks for your help.
