The design almost feels western, but I can't say exactly why. Perhaps it feels like a branding iron? Hmmm...
I think we need a bit more story in the logo. There's no requirement to have the letters in the name - and I think that's holding many of the designers back a bit.
I do think the font choice for the name has promise. Hadn't seen it before.
It's obvious you understand story development from your description - so I'm very interested in seeing if you can create a more literal/artistic approach to the logo.
Disclosure: This design includes photos, illustrations or fonts created by others but I have the right to both use and resell. (?)
Here is my first concept for the Causeworth Insurance design kit. I chose a font that is very easy to read, with no serifs. I went with gentle colors usually associated with peace and prosperity.
As for the favicon, it contains the linked C and W of the name arranged in an open, honest way. The arrows are representative of the many directions your donations take, even alluding to the idea of it someday coming full circle back to you. The W also conveys that there are ups and downs in everyone's lives, but the arrow signifies that up is the direction life is headed now that you have found Causeworth Insurance.
I have displayed the whole concept in color and Black & White, both with and without the tagline. Also included an example of a letterhead and business card.
The only item not created by me is the font, and I have the rights to use it and will provide it to you upon completion.
