It's an interesting concept, but I'm not sure the cog imagery works well.

Most likely the advertising will be print oriented for the first few years, so the animation effect needed to turn the logo 90 degrees won't be seen for a long time. If the organization makes it ...(more)

This one doesn't work as well. The ghosted image doesn't play as well as the bold one.

Agreed on the double logo presentation. Doesn't work.

I think the way it'd likely be used is just the letter without the w in the middle.

A flower, or even 4 people sitting around each other. Again the way this is done is in a cycle of giving and receiving.

I have also done sample business cards to give you an idea of how the print maybe.

I made a digital butter fly graphic this time. Represents freedom of choice, attractive offers etc.

Like I commented on the last design the circle represents an on going cycle. Plus its a type i have designed to give it a C shape.

its an inward C. plus it also could mean the ongoing cycle of helping one another. Isn't that what insurance guarantees?

One for the road...

The idea here is the empowerment of great causes supported by the "worth" generated by the business. The ribbon violates the "w" slightly showing its preferential position in the business model...Cause before profit.

The ribbon, supported, in enabled to fly.

Thanks again,

Tom

Same idea, multiply geometrical draw in other little abstract icon.

Thanks for your fast response and constructive direction throughout. It's made this fun to work on.

Regardless of the outcome of this project, I'd love to participate on any future projects you post.

Also appreciate the fact that your agency doesn't do focus groups. Had a brand consultant friend say once that when ...(more)

C and his mirroring = W anagram, a draw.
Other 'viewing', a man with arms crossed above perpendicular looked as if they sit at a table and watched from the front.

Beautiful, but not what we're looking for.

I can see you are a very talented designer, but it may be a bit like asking you to do this with one eye closed. We'd like to see things without the 3D effects, gradients, and the like.

The concept looks a bit ...(more)

This one doesn't work for us. It looks a bit too much as though the people looking for funds are begging, and that those with the money are better than those without.

The font feels too... square? And the serifs seem a little odd.

I like the idea, but I'm not sure it works as well as the iconic one you mention. I'm not sure I could come up with a way to make this more powerful.

I do think you've got a couple options that the client will like, though. I ...(more)

While the logo itself doesn't work for me I think you've done a good job on the text.

If you have another logo concept with a story (see the ones that are *** and **** for what sorts of stuff we like) the font may work very well.

Logo: * ...(more)

I loved the iconic value of the "C" in stargazer's mark and wanted to try the C alone with the ribbon motif.

Not sure this reads as a "G." I added the notch in the ribbon to help clarify.

Not sure if the ribbon has been overdone, but here's an option with it ...(more)

Here's the grayscale version of the compass with ribbon.

Let me know if there is enough contrast.
