Hi Audree, the concept is very good. If you could build on this concept, it can be a very representative icon. Some ideas:
- use 'thumb & finger' (you know, the way one plays with the resizing on a iPhone screen) instead of the 2 hands to emphasize the iPhone style interaction.
- more catchy color and graphics so that the App icon can stand out even when it's in its actual size (it's quite small on screen)

Disclosure: I created everything in my entry and I didn't copy anyone else's concept. (?)
The pose of the figure just screams "Look at ME!" So does the image of the hands holding out the picture for all to see.By the way, this is how I pose in all my pictures.
