A wave from across a crowded room is how you get somebody's attention right?
I thought that the same effect would work in an application menu. I used a waving hand as the main focus for this design. I wanted it to appear as it was reaching outside the box, but still inside a rounded square. The two frame lines are the actual outline for the rounded square, and a hint towards photos.
