I like the integration of the text with the graphical element, but my wife's reaction was that it looked like a sunset.

Another variation; this iteration has definitive contrast and a different font. The background gradient can be kept or removed.

Very nice. I like the off-center arrow and even the UP alignment to bring the text and graphic together. Simple and bold.

I went for a simple, strong and clean off-center negative space arrow in a circle. This is both bold and, with suitable colouring, attractive. Perhaps the logo could have different colours to suit its placement.

The text is purposefully aligned so that the 'up' is centered beneath the arrow.

I like this one because it's relatively simple, but interesting. I worry a bit that in some printings the dot arrow above may be hard to make out, but I do like it a lot.

Or does it look too much like a recycling logo with the arrows in a cycle. Hmm.
