I used some fun text mixed with fonts that remind me of a recipe book. The leaves round out the text and give it a nice Green homey feel.

I thought a stock photo might be the easiest way to get you a fun mascot to go with your logo. Let me know what you think. The photos would need to be purchased, but are reletively inexpensive (around 5-15$/photo).

"Family Recipes" is more readable in all purple... That wraps it up for me. If I do get chosen then we can make any revisions at the wrap up stage of the project. I'd just like to say thank you even if I don't win the award its still a great ...(more)

I like this but the "Family Recipes" has to be on the bottom and "Sis' Meliss" must be more prominent. Also, the greed has to be a darker shade of green - thanks!
