Disclosure: I created everything in my entry and I didn't copy anyone else's concept. (?)

Here is an expanded version of the first entry I posted. I added elements that would give the whole logo a layered look.

I hope this is more to your liking. Colors are editable, and all elements can be arranged to suit your needs.
