Sorry, I missed your question. Yes, I am thinking of keeping the banner black on my site. But if it doesn't work with the logo I choose, I will change it. To either white or green.
One thing that worries me about this logo is that the phone image will date this logo quickly. I'm not sure I could live with that phone for the long haul. Do you know what I mean?

I have taken your suggestions into account and come up with this. I added more green into the logo while changing the emphasis from "profits" to "marketing" - looks much better I think. Also, I have added a fading effect to the phone signal.
I have a few other ideas to play around with so will submit them this evening or tomorrow! Also I will take a screen shot of your website and test it out there.... the black in the logo may need changing to white as your banner is now black. Will you be keeping it black?
