I used the arrow in the "a" to reflect the point on an altimeter and will fit well when used as a favicon. Although it's lower case I tried to make it stand out by making it blue plus adding a gradient from light to dark representing change in altitude.
Thanks for your submission. I do like the very clean feel of this logo. This is a clever way to use the "a" in Altimeter, but I'm not crazy about using 1) lower case "a", and 2) the arrow inside the "a" - it feel like it was added in.
