I like the transparency in the red triangle, but it too obscures the "A" in the name. This isn't the direction that I'm thinking for the logo.

Disclosure: I created everything in my entry and I didn't copy anyone else's concept. (?)

Altimeter with a red triangle. The triangle is not just there as part of the design, it also replaced the "A" of Altimeter and can represented as an emblem. A triangle is one of the basic shapes of geometry. Which I knew has a major relationship or role with an altimeter... Just a thought :D
