A designer friend really liked this design, so I'm rethinking it. The graphic can be repurposed for buttons, and is strong enough to stand on its own. "The little gauge graphic alone is just excellent." The font is also well done, with the little "i" color treatment.
Interestingly, they didn't like the color schemes, but that can be changed. How about blue and orange?
I like the combination of colors as it's counterintuitive. But the "gauge" graphic, while very simple and classy, isn't connecting with me. I think that's because of the little bulge in addition to the gauge needle -- the bulge feel extraneous and yet something needs to be there to give the gauge some life.
