Thanks for the revision -- I'm feeling that this isn't the direction that I'm looking for for two reasons -- it's simply too big and has too many things going on. Also, the connection to "Altimeter" is too distant -- I find myself having to explain the logo to people and that's never a good thing.

An adjustment to the abstract gauge to bring it more in line with a traditional image for recognition, but using the array of progressive colors to show movement and measurement.
