Thanks for the multiple submissions. I'm looking at this logo after looking at a similar treatment in all in blue. As with that submission, the biggest issue I have is that the cloud partially obscuring the needle connotes an inability to "read the gauge", so to speak. In addition, the lack of the gauge makes the needs hang on their own.
I know I said I liked the all blue font in the other submission, but I actually like this approach better -- the "Group" is very clean and contrasts nicely with the monochromatic "Altimeter".
