This is somewhere between a mountain and a 3D star, and because of that, I'm not sure what to think of it. The font treatment where it fades in the middle also "weakens" the brand, making it look like it could be folded.

This logo doesn't work as well as your other submissions. It feels like a delivery company logo, especially with the gray bar pulled out to connote speed. The mark looks like a sail on a boat, which doesn't jive with the name.

Thanks for your submissions. This abstraction of a mountain works, but I didn't see the "A" or "M" in the mark. I like the simplicity, but am moving in a different direction.

Thanks also for this submission. This is more coherent than your other submission, although I'm moving in a different direction. The highlight on the mark is a confusing - it should probably be a smaller to make sure that it is shows up as a highlight. Font is excellent, similar, consistent ...(more)

Thanks for this submission. The chevron approach is very nice, but my concern is that it's pretty widely used (Delta, Head skis). Unfortunately, I'm moving in a different direction than the chevron. Here's some quick feedback on your submission here:

Your treatment sets it apart, yet gives it height. My concern is ...(more)

Thanks for this third submission. This isn't as strong as your other submissions -- the name feels off balance between the lowercase "altimeter" and upper case "GROUP". In addition, I couldn't figure out what was going on with the mark. Is it an "A"? What is the orange curve -- it ...(more)

Thanks for the submission. This has a nice, clean look, but I'm moving away from the gauge approach. What I like about your gauge is that it effectively conveys the idea with minimal clutter. It ties in nicely with the font treatment, very balanced.

Thanks for the feedback, It's much appreciated.

I used the arrow in the "a" to reflect the point on an altimeter and will fit well when used as a favicon. Although it's lower case I tried to make it stand out by making it blue plus adding a gradient from light to ...(more)

Good morning. I see you are working your way through you logo options. I appreciate the thoughtfulness with which you have been evaluating each logo. Hope you are enjoying the process, but I can imagine it is a bit daunting.

My submissions came in toward the end, so you didn't the ...(more)

Thanks for the submission. This logo has a few too many things going on. The lines are clean, but the design feels cluttered, between the "ballooning" a and the mountain shadow below the name. I'm moving in a simpler direction.

I think the blue version is much stronger.

Thanks for your submission. I do like the very clean feel of this logo. This is a clever way to use the "a" in Altimeter, but I'm not crazy about using 1) lower case "a", and 2) the arrow inside the "a" - it feel like it was added in.

Thanks for the submissions -- I appreciate the multiple iterations. I like the strong color and the very clean, simple lines. The logos at the top are better, but it doesn't work well in black and white.

While I like the design approach, it doesn't help build the brand identity -- ...(more)

I believe this is just the B&W version of the blue logo. Thanks for showing how it would look in B&W.

I'm still not a fan of the flowing "A", but of your designs, this is my favorite. Not have the circle/ball makes it cleaner -- and the better design is the red, bottom one. The blue design extends the crossbar of the "A" too far and obscures the name.

Compared to your other blue logo, I liked the name treatment better, but this also works given the horizontal approach.

Thanks for your submission, and also for the various iterations. This is a nice, clean logo design, but it has a dissonance to it -- the flowing "A" in the mark contrasts too much with the strong, cooperplate font in the name.

I'm not that crazy about the flowing "A" - ...(more)

Thanks for the submission. This is a nice design, but the fact that I'm trying to make out what the gray shadow (or is it a ball) indicates that it's hard to understand when reduced in size, e.g. for a business card.

But I do like the font treatment in particular ...(more)

One of my goals was to give you logos that were different than the others I was seeing in the mix. I knew this was probable not a "boardroom" contender...certainly not a tech boardroom...maybe a "Party City" boardroom.

I thought my first entry was my strongest...in terms of your mission and industry ...(more)

Thanks for another approach, very different than your other submission. I see the mountain and height, especially with the stars, but there's a little too much going on here. Thanks for the submission and also for the detailed comments - they are much appreciated. This is a very strong design and branding concept, but my concern with the balloon is that it also connotes "light" and "airy".

This is a very nice way of stylizing the "A"! My concern is that people may not realize that it's an "A" and think that the company name is "Ltimeter".

Thanks for the submission. This is an interesting, retro design, but it's not the direction that I'm looking for.
