Clever design, very clean and simple. But it took me a while to figure out that these were arrows pointing up and down -- at first, I thought the "T" was a tree.

Like the other submission you did, creative, but not in the direction that I'm thinking for several reasons. 1) The words built into the gauge limit the application of the logo to multiple purposes; 2) When shrunk down for a business card, etc. the name will be almost illegible; 3) The ...(

Creative, but it's not in the direction that I'm looking for. In particular, the 3D aspect is too accented compared to the other design.

Hello there!
Tried to incorporate the requirements you've mentioned.
Used a gauge to show measurement.
Provided a web 2.0, 2 colors, and grayscale look.
Please check and let me know what you think.

Thanks for the feedback - as the graphic follows the same shape as the M, I think people will be able to read the whole word.
How would you like to see this logo progressed? Different colours? Alternative fonts?

This is a very clean design, this is a great simple idea, very nice. Its also could be used pretty universally both on and offline.

A designer friend really liked this design, so I'm rethinking it. The graphic can be repurposed for buttons, and is strong enough to stand on its own. "The little gauge graphic alone is just excellent." The font is also well done, with the little "i" color treatment.
Interestingly, they didn't like ...(

An abstract gauge comprised of transparent ovals forms the basis of the idea that technologies overlap and are measured by Charlene. It can also be seen as a burst of creativity from Charlene's information gathering that is relayed to her clients.

The large capital A forms the main image of the logo. Digital squares of different colors can be read as forming the letter as Charlene accumulates information on technologies and in reverse it can be seen as Charlene dispersing her knowledge to her client.

Using a typographical approach and transforming the letter M into a business approach between Altimeter and a client. The handshake reinforces the business aspect of the logo and the star burst accentuates the exchange of information and the importance of what Charlene brings to her clients

The Creative Brief described Charlene's approach as being a guide. An intriguing solution that lent itself to the idea of a person guiding and their legs forming the letter A...again a gentle reminder of the name.

The transparency works strongly for this solution as it represents the different aspects of technology as they overlap and help form new solutions. The drop shadow reinforces that the solutions from Altimeter have substance. The bars form an abstract A as a gentle reminder of the name.
