Definitely works better without the bevel around the edge on the black. As I said with the other submission, I like the original better, but this gives me an idea of how the logo can be used in different treatments. Thanks!

This is the strongest submission by far. It's simple and elegant. It echos mountains and height, but also the "A". And the shadow is a nice touch. Definitely one of the top submissions that I'm considering.

Altimeter Group concept/retooled original, I apologize for posting the wrong file, I have withdrawn it. The background coloring can be any color. Thank you very much.

This is a strong mark and is one of the top submissions that I'm considering. So keep it as it is -- the other submissions haven't been as strong as this original one!

I still like the simpler, original version, but this gives me an idea of how different treatments could be done around the mark.

Like the other submissions you've done, the cloud doesn't work because it obscures the gauge. It gives the feeling that the company can't get an accurate reading on where things are heading.

This is very nice. It's one of the top submissions I'm considering. Thanks!

Would you like me to punch up the blue, or is the overall design not to your liking? All feedback is greatly appreciated, Thank you.

The reflection is just for presentation purposes. But yeah, the project is not for me. Taking my creative work out asap.

I really, really like the font treatment of the name -- it has a nice separation and placement of "group". It just has nice balance and symetry.

The mark itself isn't working for me. The red hash marks are out of context from the name, too abstract. In addition, the red ...(more)

Thanks for the additional submission. This approach isn't as good as the previous one, mostly because you added the name reflection which adds to the busy-ness of the graphic.

Thanks for the submission! It's a good idea with the arrow, and I really like the transparency and shading in the gauge itself, but this approach isn't working for me. The gauge itself is simple in design, but the emphasis on it, the details inside the gauge, the needle, the arrow ...(more)

Very clever! But the biggest problem is that I may not always use the "group" in the name, meaning that the logo wouldn't work in those circumstances.

I'm also concerned that the "G" would be inscrutable when the logo is reduced to fit on a business card.

I still like the first submission better -- the biggest difference is the font treatment, too rounded compared to the graphic. My first gut reaction to the new color schematic was that I didn't like it, but I think the main reason is because of the blue -- it's not as ...(more)

Not as good as the original submission -- the shiny reflections and bevels makes it look like jewels, which isn't what I'm looking for. In addition, the rounded font doesn't work for me and contrasts with the straight edges of the logo.

This has a nice, clean feel to it, even though it has a lot going on! But that is the problem -- I think it does have too many elements in it with the three circles. In addition, when the logo is reduced in size for a business card, it will ...(more)

This "cooperplate" approach with the font is very strong, but it falls apart because of the gauge needle. That graphic looks almost like an exclamation mark, and also echos a sword and is incongruous with the rest of the strong, business-like mark.

With such a strong font, it would almost be ...(more)

Thanks for the multiple submissions. I'm looking at this logo after looking at a similar treatment in all in blue. As with that submission, the biggest issue I have is that the cloud partially obscuring the needle connotes an inability to "read the gauge", so to speak. In addition, the lack ...(more)
