Professional, original, clear, easy-to-read.

The "NNN" is the concept for the favicon, so you could use it separately from the main logo.

Feedback is appreciated,
Hope you like it! :)

Hello,

I went with an image of a Navy ship. The one with the stars makes me think of how when they are at sea, they are looking at the same stars as their families.

Thank you for the opportunity to create.

Hi Elaine,
Thanks for the feedback on my other entries. Here is another option I wanted to show you. This version has waves which could be used much the same way as the ships wheel......and a background element throughout your site/publication.

Let me know your thoughts on this version,
Thanks,
John

Hi John,

I like the changes you have made in this version. The ship's wheel works well visually and as a representation of the site's mission.

Thanks,

Elaine

A few more thoughts that might help guide you after seeing the first few entries:

Don't feel like you must use blue just because it's a site for Navy families. That's kind of the obvious choice, but I'm open to other ideas. I also want to make sure the logo works in ...(more)

On this version I beefed up the Northwest a little bit.....also replaced the O with an icon which is a ships wheel. This icon also appears in the background........to show you how it could be used as a design element within your website or publication. Let me know if you like ...(more)

I appreciate your effort to demonstrate what the site offers with the icons below the name, but this is too busy.

I want to make sure the logo can work in black and white, as well as in color, and on different backgrounds.

I really like this typography. It's simple and clean, but it still has some personality.

I'd like to see what you could do to incorporate an icon.

Thanks!

I've included a series of icons that I think can help people relate to what your site does. If the news portion of your site isn't the primary focus (but one of many ways of keeping connected) then I feel it's wise to represent what your site offers.

I wanted to do something simple that would look good in any color or black and white. I can probably figure out how to incorporate a little icon as well, if you like the look of this.

Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
John

Withdrawn: The buyer didn't really like this one.

I'm looking for something a little younger and more fresh for the Northwest Navy News identity. The font and graphic styling here feel dated.

Thank you for breaking the ice with the first entry!

I like the general direction you're headed with the one in the upper right corner. I'm just not sure that the initials are really saying anything about the site or how people will use it. The tagline "Stay Connected!" is a ...(more)

I used colors that I thought both represented "strong" and "Navy". The first entry I'm putting in has no graphical element to it - it simply has a couple of strong fonts for the NNN and a more personable 'Stay Connected' tag line.

I'd appreciate your feedback on the project.
