Hi Dave, Similar comment as the last one. I'm looking for a logo that uses a far less literal use of the word hive however. The purpose of the site is to demonstrate group cohesion, merging of minds and talent to produce 1 final end result that in turn is strong than what would have been produced alone or in a silo. I'm hoping to find a logo that demonstrates the concept.
Disclosure: I created everything in my entry and I didn't copy anyone else's concept. (?)
I've read the brief and suggestions, I'm bravely going ahead with incorporating some hexagonal elements, as I believe (maybe I'm wrong) that I'm doing something different with a 'hive' theme. The name "contract hive" is so original and distinctive, I feel it deserves an original treatment which includes an image of a bee.
I'm presenting 3 variations of the logo, one, however does NOT incorporate any 'hive' element.
The other elements include a bee drawing... I conceived of NOT drawing the bee in vector, but rather as an ink sketch...symbolizing the creative thinking process (and symbolizing beginnings). I belive this look will distinguish contracthive.com from shorttask.com's all vector look.
Also, I've written an original tagline: "beecome great."
