Hello I wanted to take a stab at your project. I went with the concept of 'burning cds" and used a complementary color scheme to really make this icon pop out. Since your website will be on a dark background i added this as well and it creates a pretty bold design, in my opinion of course. I have provided a simplified version for balck and white, a reverse, and a non gradient flat color scheme for you to see also. thanks in advance for any feedback.
