This concept is similar to your prior logo--the person in the person--representative of one's potential. Let me know if you'd like to work this concept. The person's feature can change to be more masculine or feminine. I went a little more masculine b/c of your target audience.

I tried to incorporate several ideas into the logo. At first glance it takes the shape of a banner, a sign of prestige. Secondly, the white space point upwards to signify rising above and learning. The colors are light to dark to compliment the learning process.

My imagination about Nightingale Conant is this must be a drive to move forward. A process in which something passes by degrees to a different level or stage.

Acheiving what was thought to be impossible.
The regal blue color palette suggests acheivement, leadership and a champion spirit.

Here is the same concept, only with lines. I feel that the double lines not only add a bit of elegance, but also set off "Nightingale-Conant" from the logo.

The idea here was to simply express the uplifting, positve nature of the company while incorporating the initials.

By accenting the C in red, I was trying to balance the weight of the longer word, bringing a balance to the name.

Here is another variation where the star represents your company... its placement along with the color being the same as the type convey that your company promotes human growth...

As requested, here's my second design proposal modified to make the letter "n" look more like an "n".

Also, I've chosen a different color so you would have a feel of a different palette.
