Thanks for your feedback. Here is another stab at your logo, incorporating movement and the NC icon. Is this more in lines with your vision. I gave the logo forward and upward momentum. Thoughts?

Strong, simple, professional and versatile.

I have chosen blue for it's feeling of freedom and a star to symbolize hope, new beginning, success etc.

Here's my logo proposal.
The graphic element contains the letters N and C, and a dot dividing them as separate names. At the same time it depicts a joyous person.
