A revision/update of the previous idea.
This one is created with minimalism in mind or at least with subtlety in evidence.
Not sure how much of a bang you wanted to make with the icon/image, but I still feel because this is quite 'strategically' positioned, is centered, and the shape of the 'x' is unique, plus the colours, it still pulls a punch, even though it may not be taking up a whole amount of real estate.
